Responsibilities
Financial Governance & Risk ManagementContract Reviews: Partner with Legal and Procurement to review contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines.Invoice & Budget Management: Oversee the portfolio budget, tracking project expenditures, verifying and approving vendor invoices, and ensuring financial accountability across the portfolio.Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks at the portfolio level, implementing effective risk management strategies to safeguard project delivery.
Monitoring and ControllingMaintains quality deliverable (e.g., documents) by identifying requirements, developing plans, and tracking outputs. Follows standard quality management processes and accommodates some customer acceptance requirements.Follows established change processes and confirms change with customer before formally initiating the process.Manages finances for projects and budgets by tracking financial metrics and ensuring budgetary targets are met.
Relationship DevelopmentFacilitates customer satisfaction by engaging with customers in a positive manner, reviewing customer feedback, and builds trusted relationships and supports colleagues in leveraging trusted relationships with internal resources to act as the voice of the customer with guidance from mentors on politically sensitive matters. Manages expectations by leading Success Expectation discussions with customer, and documenting, executing, and monitoring accordingly, leading customer and partner experience (CPE) processes.Adheres to project compliance standards (e.g., confidentiality, privacy) and requirements of the contract.

- Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 3+ years experience in project management OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project/portfolio management with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership or strategic portfolio role
- Financial experience in budget tracking, forecasting, processing invoices, and analyzing financial data.
- Contractual Acumen: Proven ability to review technical contracts/SOWs and identify potential risks or discrepancies.
- Effective communication and reporting skills, capable of distilling complex portfolio data into clear, actionable insights.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional)
- A track record of personally delivering complex projects to completion from initial scoping to final closeout.
- Stakeholder management experience across engineering, business, and operational audiences, including high stakes scenarios with conflicting requirements.
Consulting Project Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,800 - $193,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $126,100 - $207,600 per year.
