Job Description
Lead and deliver business and technology projects ranging from moderate to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that support strategic organizational objectives. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, resource coordination, and change management. Utilize industry-standard project and program management methodologies and tools to drive execution, achieve business outcomes, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Accountabilities:
- Project Delivery & Execution – Responsible for the successful delivery of medium to large-scale business and technology projects that often represent cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives. Manage projects within the organization's project delivery framework and ensure adherence to project governance standards, methodologies, and best practices. Accountable for project communications, issue resolution, risk management, and escalation of critical matters to project sponsors and leadership.
- Project Planning & Governance – Define project objectives, scope, key deliverables, milestones, success measures, and timelines. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that incorporate deliverables, accountabilities, dependencies, resource requirements, and budgets. Provide regular project status reporting and executive updates while ensuring alignment with business goals and organizational priorities.
- Leadership & Resource Management – Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure timely completion of project commitments and deliverables. Identify resource requirements and collaborate with business leaders and functional managers to secure appropriate staffing. Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to project resources and may directly manage or mentor junior project managers, analysts, or coordinators.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external stakeholders. Facilitate agreement and adoption of project objectives, deliverables, and outcomes. Serve as a key point of contact for project governance, executive communications, presentations, and decision-making activities.
- Risk, Issue & Change Management – Proactively identify and assess project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints. Develop mitigation and contingency plans and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Manage project change requests and ensure appropriate governance approvals are obtained.
- Program Management & Operational Excellence – Support broader program management functions including portfolio management, vendor management, financial tracking, quality assurance, performance measurement, knowledge management, project integration, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve project delivery effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, quality, resource, and budget objectives. Analyze project metrics, identify trends, recommend improvements, and ensure achievement of established success criteria.
Job Qualifications:
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience Required
7+ years of progressively responsible project management, program management, business transformation, or technology delivery experience.
Demonstrated success leading medium to large-scale cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing enterprise-level initiatives.
Certifications Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Agile, Scrum, Lean, or equivalent project/program management certifications preferred.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Experience, or Training
Required
- Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, frameworks, and lifecycle management practices.
- Experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
