Job Summary:
Salas O’Brien is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (multiple openings) responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities. May work remotely 2 days / week from anywhere in the United States.
Job duties include:
· Analyze and design structural elements, including concrete footing and pier foundations, and structural wood, steel, concrete, and concrete masonry structures.
· Analyze load distribution throughout the superstructure and foundation elements.
· Using AutoCAD and Revit to visualize and create the necessary plans and details pertinent to the development of the structural design.
· Determine design loads on structures, including seismic, wind, soil, and gravity loads. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
· U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related engineering field;
· Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation;
· Experience with modeling building structures with Revit;
· Experience modeling and analyzing building structures with Ram Structural System and Ram Elements;
· Experience with analyzing and designing building foundations, including drilled piers, spread footings, mat slabs, and piles; and
· Experience analyzing and designing building superstructures, including wood frames, load-bearing concrete masonry, and steel and concrete frames.

Compensation: Salary $100,000 - $120,000 / year
