About the job
BU Energy Separation Søborg is a growing and forward-looking organization. Our Engineering&Supply team is on the lookout for a self-motivated Senior Project Engineer for our project department working with Fresh water generators and Heigh speed separators.
The Engineer will be a key person throughout the project execution with the following responsibilities:
- Mechanical/Process engineering and design of components and systems to various industries for medium to heigh level complexity projects
- Have a good understanding of P&ID´s, PFD for projects in sales and execution phase
- Analyzing problems and coming up with designs to solve them
- Ensure that client requirements are adhered to, in a cost-efficient way.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate project requirements with the project manager
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and documentation
- Assist in our global engineering coordination activities with other Alfa Laval sites
The position is based in Søborg/Copenhagen and includes 10-15 travel days a year.

You have a strong positive drive mixed with Curiosity and a growth mindset. You have to be a team player, structured and committed to project deliveries, since we are working agile and with the focus on quality, time and cost. Driven by delivering engineering work according to the contract and with a good commercial result for AL and to the customers’ satisfaction.
What you know
- Strong mechanical/process engineering background with 15+ years’ experience
- Design, selection & sizing of mechanical equipment
- Extensive experience working on engineering projects
- Cross-cultural awareness and excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Knowledge and experience with Oil&Gas / offshore engineering codes and standards is an advantage
