The jobholder is responsible for sourcing and scoping projects for the TARSHID, with responsibilities including, but not limited to, engaging with beneficiary entities and external stakeholders, coordinating data collection and analysis with different internal/external units, and supporting the procurement contracting process (RFP).
Main Responsibilities:
Pipeline development
- Build government building databases and prioritize potential projects.- Coordinate with Finance to secure project funding.
- Coordinate the drafting / signing of contracts (in cooperation with Contracts Administrator and Legal Counsel).
- Support the contracting and procurement process (RFP), in coordination with Super-ESCO project management division.
Contact initiation
- Liaise with Government entities at the facility manager level to initiate projects.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders, maintain up to date contact information, and continuously track related updates/news.
Energy audit completion
- Conduct (or outsource) shortlisted buildings’ walkthrough audits.
- Establish preliminary project feasibility.
Planning
- Contribute to the development of Super-ESCO’s business plans, including project activity level, proposed project activity budgets and project timelines.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or any related field
CEM / CMVP certification is preferred
Experience & Skills:
•5+ years of experience in business/project development roles preferably with retrofit experience within ESCO (or EPC)industry.
•Professional in English required, fluency in Arabic is a must.
•Effective communication skills (written and verbal); ability to manage teams working on multiple concurrent projects;
•Sales and relationship management skills; open to working in a multicultural environment; knowledge of working with Saudi and local government entities.
•Technical knowledge relating to building retrofits and potential savings; basic understanding of technical terms and studies
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in business or project development
- Experience with retrofit projects, preferably within the ESCO or EPC industry
- Professional proficiency in English
- Fluency in Arabic
