 Job Title: Senior Project Controls Manager            

KBR is growing its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for an exciting, high profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Client or Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose

Lead, manage, and oversee all Project Controls functions for ADNOC Offshore projects, including planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, performance monitoring, progress measurement, reporting, change management, and project governance. Ensure successful delivery of projects by maintaining effective control of cost, schedule, resources, and project performance in line with ADNOC standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Controls Leadership

  • Lead the Project Controls team comprising Planning Engineers, Cost Engineers, Risk Engineers, Progress Engineers, and Reporting Specialists.
  • Establish and implement project controls systems, procedures, methodologies, and reporting frameworks.
  • Provide strategic project controls guidance to project management and ADNOC stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC project control standards, project execution plans, and governance requirements.

Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering:
    • Engineering
    • Procurement
    • Fabrication
    • Offshore Construction
    • Installation
    • Hook-up
    • Commissioning
    • Start-up
  • Review and approve EPC/EPCI contractor schedules.
  • Monitor critical path activities and schedule performance.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and identify recovery strategies.
  • Ensure proper schedule integration across all project phases.

  • Monitor mitigation actions and contingency utilization.
  • Advise management on project threats and opportunities.

  • Ensure alignment between field progress and project baseline schedules.
  • Evaluate offshore campaign performance and productivity.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Preferred Qualification

  • Master's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA)

  • PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional)
  • AACE Certification (CCP or PSP)

Experience

Minimum Experience

  • 15+ years of Project Controls experience.
  • 10+ years in Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC, or Mega Projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior project controls leadership role.
