Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Control Engineer/ Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of complex project control and cost control problems.
Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts status against an established baseline schedule.
Sets up a baseline budget for resources, revenue, and cost using an appropriate WBS in coordination with the Project Manager.
Analyzes, evaluates, forecasts, and reports about cost status against the established baseline in collaboration with the planning team.
Prepares and updates on various weekly and monthly cost tracking reports.
Establishes resource, revenue, and cost projections for projects in coordination with project teams.
Performs variance analysis against baseline projections and initiates or recommends corrective actions.
Utilizes historical data and trends to maintain a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
Monitors and tracks project progress and perform Earned Value Management, including calculation and reporting of EV, EAC and ETC to assess performance and forecast final project cost.
Participates in monthly and quarterly reviews and supports the project team in explaining variances and justifications.
Supports the Project Director in reviewing and finalizing the business plan.
Completes performance reviews for direct reports and supports personnel development.
Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
Coordinates with other departments to ensure that all costs are properly charged to jobs and that the project cost control function has full visibility.
Develop and maintain schedules for construction and design projects
Support Billing and Collection process from preparing invoices to coordinating with other stakeholders for timely collection
Preparation of multiple Trackers / Logs to monitor cost related information and issues.
Supervise and mentor Project Controls engineers when required
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor of Engineering/Finance
5-10 years of experience in construction, design or other related projects
Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software (PMIS, Oracle PM related software, Primavera).
MS Office proficiency plus Excel Advanced knowledge.
Good communication and team player.
Stakeholders Management.
Power BI knowledge and experience
