ResponsibilitiesUC Health is hiring a Senior Project Analyst for Strategy & Business Development Department.
The Senior Project Analyst leads process improvement and quality improvement projects across UC Health. Partnering with project sponsors and cross-functional teams, this role uses Lean, Six Sigma and data analysis to turn data into clear recommendations that improve how we deliver care and work together.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads projects from start to finish: defines project scope with sponsors, plans time, staffing and budget needs, and keeps work on track using project management tools.
- Facilitates cross-functional teams, builds consensus and maintains regular communication with sponsors and stakeholders so teams reach their goals on time.
- Designs data collection methods and analyzes data using Excel, Minitab and Access to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
- Develops project metrics and uses benchmarking to measure outcomes and identify best practices.
- Applies Lean, Six Sigma and other performance improvement tools to standardize processes and support accreditation readiness.
- Manages multiple projects at once, prioritizing and delegating with leadership, and prepares meeting documentation, reports and presentations.
- Coaches and mentors colleagues and takes part in staff development and interdepartmental initiatives.

QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelors degree in health care or business field.
- Four or more years as a manager or similar position of responsibility.
Preferred:
- Masters education in health or business field,
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and/or other performance improvement or project management certification. (e.g., CQIA, PMP, CPHQ)
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- Project leadership in a group or team setting preferred.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business field
- Four or more years as a manager or in a similar position of responsibility
- Master's degree or education in a health or business field
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or another performance improvement or project management certification, such as CQIA, PMP, or CPHQ
