The Senior Programmer Analyst Lead is a pivotal role for this team, responsible for enhancing, developing, installing, testing, and modifying software systems. In addition to these technical duties, this individual will lead and mentor other team members, guiding them through various technical initiatives. As the go-to person for technical assistance and decision making, you will ensure smooth project execution and system integrity. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues and apply critical thinking to analyze requirements and understand their impact on the system will be crucial to our success.
Your Impact:
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, including technical, business, and end-user representatives to gather information on system needs, objectives, functions, features, and other requirements.
- Lead efforts, serving as a mentor and leader for technical team members, to make informed technical decisions and provide assistance to team as primary point of escalation.
- Define priorities for technical team members on the efforts you lead through by providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed timely or escalating to organizational leadership when needed.
- Define and implement processes to enhance efficiency in the projects and initiatives that you lead.
- Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively, escalating to ITS Leadership as they arise.
- Deliver technical application support for existing enterprise software systems and processes, resolving issues promptly as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical resources through ticket queues, email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Develop software enhancements as needed, ensuring they align with system requirements and coding standards. Test system changes thoroughly and debug code promptly to resolve any issues or errors that arise.
- Prepare logic and code new enterprise software solutions in a variety of computer languages (i.e. – T-SQL, C#, ASP, HTML, JavaScript, etc.); test and debug code as issues/errors arise; participate in design discussions and recommend solutions to assigned Enterprise Systems Solutions Management.
- Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
- Work with Business Analysts to develop and validate application business solutions.
- Mentors and trains other programmers, providing technical expertise and identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the organizational manager is informed of any development needs.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 6+ years of proven experience in software development and system analysis in the following:
- Hands-on programming medium or large-sized technical solutions
- Working on software development projects
- Common software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
- .NET programming (C#); T-SQL; JavaScript/jQuery; HTML/CSS; XML; Relational Database Management Systems (SQL Server or Oracle); Entity Framework; Solid Design Principles
- Strong demonstrated skills in all the following:
- Leadership and mentoring
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- Teamwork with an ability to communicate effectively with technical/non-technical team members
- Customer service orientation to understand and meet the needs of internal/external stakeholders
- Adapting to changing technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment
At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, and 10 days of paid time off and 11 paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected pay range for this position is $64,800 - $110,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
