Job Title: Sr. Program Manager- (Manufacturing Optimization)-Remote

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

The Sr. Program Manager - (Manufacturing Optimization) is a very critical Operations role that will develop and lead projects in support of optimization of the global manufacturing network. The role organizes and leads assigned projects in a project/program management capacity, as well as presents issues, recommendations, and updates to management on the assigned manufacturing optimization and consolidation projects. The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Program Manager will be to create and manage project plans including business case development in support of manufacturing optimization. Focus is medical device manufacturing and device manufacturing transfer, site consolidation, restructure and optimization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead/support development of strategic options for network manufacturing optimization through multiple lenses including product lifecycle, manufacturing. technology, manufacturing supply chain and cost structures with cost/ benefit analysis to deliver recommendations and provide decisions support.

• Analysis and implementation of plant/operational restructuring programs. Data review, financial and budgetary analysis and presentation of finding and reports to ICU executive leadership.

• Provide project leadership, organize project teams and lead the execution of project activities.

• Prepare and analyze project forecasts, timelines, budgets, reports, and metrics to ensure project deliverables arrive on time and on budget.

• Support and participate in the decision-making process of global Operations project management.

• Facilitate contingency planning, project risk assessment, and other decision-making activities on an as needed basis.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Self-motivated, skilled at working independently and managing without authority.

• Team leadership skills, particularly managing across the matrix.

• Strong comprehension, communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to distil complex subject matter and explain it simply and concisely.

• Advanced computer skills required: MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and mastery of MS Excel. Experience with SQL/Database management tools a plus.

• Well-developed Customer Service and problem resolution skills

• Project Management experience required, including cross functional collaboration (e.g., Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Marketing, Quality), budget management experience, project scheduling / timeline management.

• Excellent interpersonal and influence management skills including ability to effectively handle conflict through proactive action, and direct and timely communication.

Manufacturing network optimization experience. Manufacturing transfer, manufacturing site consolidation and restructuring is preferred.

• Business case development skills with very strong Operations cost accounting knowledge

Education and Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Bachelor's Degree (or greater) in Business or Engineering from an accredited college or university is required.

• 7 years' experience in Project Management required.

• Medical Device Project Management experience a very strong plus

• 3 years' experience in support of Manufacturing Operations preferred

• Mergers & acquisition experience highly preferred.

• Data analysis, supply chain, finance/budgeting and compliance knowledge highly preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• This is largely a sedentary role

• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment

• Up to 25% travel required

This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York.
