Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Marketing Program Manager to join our Go-to-market Operations team in either Boston, MA, Plantation, FL, or Minneapolis, MN locations. This team is responsible for driving successful, on-time execution and delivery of large-scale marketing campaigns, and product launches. The programs we work on are large in the scale of spend, impact, outreach, channels, and teams involved.

In this role, you will be orchestrating many concurrent programs with strategic IMC leaders. You will build project plans & timelines, solve problems, and communicate progress to stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally to proactively identify, monitor, communicate, and resolve potential roadblocks, and establish durable programming mechanisms. Your projects will vary in size, ask, and scope.

You have experience in and understand the complexities of integrated marketing campaigns, retail, merchandising, and vendor funding program management. You enjoy mobilizing cross-functional teams, you are an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic and proactive problem solver who is engaged at all levels of the project, possessing a heightened sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability with a proven track record to lead projects from planning through completion. This role is critical for Chewy to maintain and improve speed to market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and manage highly engaged, effective relationships across Marketing, Retail, Site Experience, Creative, Channels and other cross-functional teams
  • Consistently deliver multiple, concurrent programs that drive customer value, anticipated ROI, and impact many teams
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop tailored, actionable processes and work-back plans with an emphasis on durable mechanisms & speed to market
  • Master and utilize software tools to successfully navigate through program stage gates and deliverables as well as capture key project data to support business initiatives, decisions, goals, and growth
  • Proactively identify and resolve time-sensitive challenges with a positive, collaborative, solutions-focused approach
  • Work directly with Marketers, Channel owners, and Creatives to ensure seamless, end-to-end, on-time project completion
  • Orchestrate external partner timelines & routines to deliver on successful vendor-funded campaigns, serve as a trusted resource & advisor
  • Be the subject matter expert in all areas of the program, proactively setting and managing expectations on an ongoing basis throughout the engagement life cycle
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in how the full funnel process works for Marketing campaigns, providing feedback and key insights to our Marketing Leadership, influencing solutions from the PM vantage point
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize processes and mechanisms with a goal to simplify and expand efficiency

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced setting or similar Marketing environment directly managing multiple, cross-functional programs
  • Experience managing and overseeing partner/vendor relationships
  • Proficient in utilizing project management software tools (Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Office Timeline, Confluence, CrossCap, Workfront, etc.) to manage and optimize process workflows, including maintenance of key project details and data points
  • Proven ability to use analytical, innovative, and quick-on-your-feet thinking to adapt work-back plans while still delivering on time and on budget
  • Demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently illustrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent attention to detail, effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Team player, passionate about motivating and/or mentoring team members, fostering a positive team environment and culture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • PMP-certified preferred
  • Travel is expected 10% of the year
