Internal Communications / Marketing

Location: Tikri, Gurugram  •  Reports To: Associate Director – Marketing • Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – Communications to lead strategic internal communication initiatives that drive employee awareness, engagement, and a strong sense of belonging across the organization. This role demands a strong leader with exceptional project management skills, creative capabilities, and the ability to work directly with the Senior Leadership Team and corporate group leaders - making agility, executive presence, and stakeholder management essential to success.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Communications & Leadership
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and business priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional communication projects with clear timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Serve as a trusted communication partner to senior leadership and corporate group leaders, translating business priorities into clear, compelling narratives for the wider organization.
  • Adapt communication strategy and tactics based on analytics, stakeholder feedback, and campaign performance to continuously improve reach and adoption.
Employee Engagement & Campaigns
  • Develop and lead end-to-end communication campaigns in alignment with Global Marketing and Comms teams, driving awareness around key programs and initiatives.
  • Curate and amplify stories around employee experience, business achievements, values-driven behaviors, and culture across all internal platforms.
  • Drive employee engagement through innovative campaigns, storytelling, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Plan, market, and execute functional and executive townhalls, ensuring strong participation and engagement.
Content & Design Development
  • Plan, write, and edit high-impact content across internal communication channels - forum, newsletters, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
  • Create visually compelling communication materials including infographics, presentations, and videos.
  • Storyboard and translate communication plans into creative briefs for design teams or independently produce high-quality assets.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communication touchpoints.
Project & Forum Management
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of communication projects across multiple channels simultaneously, demonstrating strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Manage and enhance the company forum as a central hub for employee engagement and information, ensuring timely updates, user-friendly design, and relevant content.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Identify, onboard, and manage external vendors including design agencies, content creators, and tech partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand communication needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Social Media Management
  • Develop and implement social media strategies across relevant platforms, creating and publishing content that strengthens the organization's external presence, employer brand, and audience engagement.
  • Monitor channel performance, track key metrics, and deliver data-driven insights to continuously optimize content, campaigns, and overall social media impact.
Event Management
  • Plan and execute end-to-end internal and external events including leadership summits, employee engagement events, and conferences, managing all logistics, vendor coordination, and budget oversight.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to align event objectives with organizational priorities, while evaluating success through feedback and performance metrics to inform future planning.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 10–12 years of experience in corporate or internal communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role.
  • Proven experience in project management and intranet administration.
  • Strong design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in communication and collaboration platforms such as MS Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft narratives that resonate across diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work with and influence senior leadership and corporate group leaders, with the agility to pivot as business priorities evolve.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Attributes
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and strong marketing sensibility.
  • Track record of leading high-visibility, complex projects such as M&A integrations, rebranding, or large-scale transformation communications.
  • Background in brand marketing, journalism, or corporate communications is a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to handle ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment where priorities shift and timelines are tight.
