Job Description
Responsibilities
- Deliver and provide solution-oriented demos, new method development and technical solution in content to customer requirements. Analytical in understanding and able to convey differentiation over competition and provide technical competitive intelligence advice.
- To collaborate with sales personnel throughout the sales cycle in term of products knowledge and applications, from presales to the end of the cycle and after sales supports.
- Presales- Demonstrations, power point presentations, in depth technical discussion, propose total solution, lead the compilation of applications and marketing materials for customers/users, and hold teleconferences with user/customer.
- After sales - Applications training – presentation on technology relevant to instrumentation prior to hand on. Hands-on training hardware and software; troubleshooting; answer user queries on experimental
- Support sales on opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; facilitate solving customer problems on application issues through training, information and recommendation of solutions through knowledge of competitive offerings.
- Support sales team on user meetings, workshops, seminars to update products technology and chemistry
- Support on annual sales activity based on company's strategic objectives to meet sales target by supporting Sales Leaders in developing new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
- Maintain installed base customer satisfaction and contact point of communication supporting and resolving customer enquiries and collaborate with service engineers.
- Run tests on customer samples and provide data to the customer and help close orders through frequent interaction with the sales professionals. Troubleshoot problems related to instruments application and software.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and seminars that speak to the customers’ business needs and applications by positioning our products as solutions to meeting those needs.
- Work closely with service team and extended regional sales team and business units in order to promote a high level of customer support.
- Provide local support for planned customer training event throughout the year. Provide feedback to management on industry trends, customers growth opportunities.
Academic Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Chemistry
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in running application using Chromatography
- Strong knowledge, theory, with applications required hands-on experience with chromatography products.
- Good analytical in research data & problem-solving skill in developing solutions
- Good presentation skill in both verbal and written in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to work in a team environment with sales and service.
- Customer service oriented and willing to travel domestic & overseas
- Computer literate, knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry
- At least 5 years of experience running applications using chromatography
- Strong chromatography theory, applications knowledge, and hands-on experience with chromatography products
- Strong analytical research-data analysis and problem-solving skills
