This position is techno functional position to join as a senior member of implementation team that will work on Application configurations and roll-outs of medium and large enterprise applications, Customer focused customizations, development of necessary security policies as per customer requirements and providing post implementation support to various Diebold product suits. The position also involves working closely with product and application support teams for getting the reported issues resolved. This is customer facing role and the resource for this position will work on local and global customer projects and includes travels to local as well as international customer locations.

Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify software applications of the Diebold Nixdorf Banking Security Software Portfolio as a member of the PS Global Banking Practice Team. 

• Consult with customers, implement the DN Security software and harden the software stack and adapting their operational processes.

 • Install, configure, build, and maintain the Vynamic Security and related Server modules.

 • Create, implement, and manage Vynamic security policies

 • Pilot new security software releases in customer environments.

 • Support Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities

 • Analyze vulnerability assessment reports and validate findings

 • Perform root cause analysis for security weaknesses and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Actively maintain and share in-depth knowledge of industry processes and standards with counterparts in the Global PS organization. 

• Maintain close relationships with local domain communities and identifies potential training and/or coaching demand. 

• Provide domain trainings to customers, area staff as well as to GDC members. 

• Consults SW areas in the pre-sales process by reviewing cat II and III project proposals and development of RFP, RFI, POC and SOW. 

• Act as escalation point for Global Software Support Incident management for complex issues in own product domain.

 • Provide Hotinfos to affected customer environments and the GDCs. • Engage and work with Software Product Management and Product Development as well as PS and Pre-sales organizations. 

• Analyze customer business processes, functional and nonfunctional requirements and technical system environments in order to determine the best solutions for customers.

 • Manage feedback and product related requirements from customer projects and provide input for the product improvement process. 

Consult delivery teams to provide best practices. 

• Travel locally/ internationally to customer sites. 

Other Skills and knowledge

 • In Depth knowledge of Windows (Win10/ Win11)

 • Experience with ATM Applications 

• Experience with Terminal Security Applications

 • Fluent English skills


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or MCA. 
  •  Overall 4+ years of relevant experience.
  •  Hands-on experience supporting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities.
  •  Technical skills: ▪ Windows and Linux operating systems 
  •  In depth knowledge of Windows (Win10/ Win11) & its file systems
  •  Networking, white & block listing of applications and ports 
  •  Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  •  Experience with ATM Applications & Flow Knowledge of:
  •  Access control or Security Hardening 
  • Intrusion prevention systems 
  •  Encryption technologies
  • • Security policies and compliance frameworks
