As a Senior Product Specialist, you’ll support our Product Managers in creating best-in-class payment and Commercial Card products. You’ll participate in the rapid growth, development and expansion of our Commercial Card suite of products by managing and growing our portfolio of Middle Market and ePayables products by achieving client growth, retention and profitability goals. You’ll significantly expand program size by working collaboratively across Treasury Management Sales, Product Management, Card Operations, Marketing, and with industry partners and vendors to continue delivering strong Commercial Card profitability and revenue growth for Western Alliance Bank. In this role you'll collaborate with Product Managers, Product Analysts, Sales, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Executive Team to develop market for profitable payment products by increasing sales and usage of product suite.- Develop an excellent client experience process for implementing new products and work with internal teams to grow existing programs and ensure accurate and timely implementation of new programs signed.
- Develop an account management process to identify spend growth opportunities with existing client base to drive volume.
- Manage supplier enrollment process and assist line staff with identifying and executing opportunities. Provide training, pricing, benefits and product enhancements to internal divisional line staff.
- Drive the strategy and roadmap to improve the sales process and client experience across Commercial Card products while ensuring key profitability metrics are being met, training programs are designed, and product and technical expertise is provided to assist Treasury Sales in furthering the value proposition of payment products.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of related experience in Product Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, as well as pricing dynamics. Market specific awareness.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with building marketing plans as well as designing and executing presentations.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
