The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in Television Audience Measurement, audience analytics, broadcast measurement, media research, or adjacent media data/analytics domains.

The Product Owner will play a key role in enabling NIQ to deploy and adapt its TAM products and platforms for market-specific needs, ensuring that business rules, data models, operational workflows, and reporting requirements are aligned to local market realities while still fitting into a scalable global product framework.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work closely with engineering, architecture, data, operations, and business stakeholders across geographies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC, be comfortable engaging in solution and implementation discussions, and ideally bring technical experience in C# / ASP.NET with front-end exposure to Angular or Ember.js.

The role will operate in a SAFe Agile environment and requires close collaboration with globally distributed teams.

Business Context

Television Audience Measurement (TAM) is a critical part of the media ecosystem, enabling broadcasters, advertisers, agencies, and publishers to understand who is watching what, when, and on which platform. • Translate TAM business requirements into product deliverables with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.

  • Partner with Product Management and business stakeholders to shape roadmap priorities for TAM implementation across new markets.

  • Support decision-making on market-specific business definitions, reporting logic, and operational workflows.

4) Agile / SAFe Delivery Execution

  • Operate as a Product Owner in a SAFe Agile program, working across Agile teams and release trains, and participate and contribute to SAFe Agile ceremonies and discussions.

  • Prioritize backlog in alignment with roadmap goals, release milestones, and market rollout schedules.

  • Work with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering Leads to remove blockers and ensure delivery momentum.

5) Technical and SDLC Engagement

  • Be hands-on and actively engaged in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement definition, design discussions, development support, testing alignment, release planning, and production readiness.
