We are now looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our Product Led Growth team.


About the Role


A Senior Product Owner assumes a central role in spearheading new feature ownership and overseeing the complete development lifecycle for our Product-Led Growth team. This is a pivotal position where you will collaborate extensively with Product, Design, Engineering and Quality teams to guarantee smooth coordination and the successful product delivery.


We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where employees work 2 days a week in the Manchester office. Our core day is Wednesday, and the second day will be determined together. The rest of the week you are welcome to work from the office, or remotely if you’d prefer.

What you'll be doing

  • You will collaborate with Product Design to refine requirements, document detailed user stories, and evaluate new technologies for platform integration.
  • You will also own product features throughout development and drive initiatives through the software development lifecycle.
  • We are an agile company, therefore you will lead scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos, ensuring smooth development processes.
  • You’ll be instrumental in making product decisions based on evidence, considering technology and architectural capabilities to align with business goals.
  • You will also contribute to marketing collateral, provide Product Marketing with feature information, track feedback, and create blogs and videos with real-life use cases.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in SaaS companies with knowledge of data integration and cloud data warehouses.
  • Familiar with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experienced with Agile methodologies and managing front-end/UI product changes
  • Detail-oriented with skills in SQL, API calls, and documentation.
  • Strong collaboration, multitasking abilities, and a user-centric mindset.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £56,000 - £84,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
