Job Description

Your Challenge:

Own, create and implement go-to-market strategies, and ensure that they are realized within the markets. Responsible for commercial excellence of existing products and New Product Introductions within your portfolio to activate with the markets in a way that drives top and bottom line performance to achieve the businesses strategic ambitions. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

Global Product Marketing team responsible for building strong go-to-market strategies to drive profitability of the Philips CT Business. Our team manages world-wide downstream marketing of industry first products and best-in-class global product launches to grow market share and innovation leader status. 

Your role:

  • Support the development of global Go-To-Market activities associated with New Product Introductions (NPI), such as launch plans, Marketing Communications strategy, sales training, collateral development, and pricing for multiple new product introductions within Computed Tomography (CT).

  • Develop marketing plans for assigned product launches, including gathering market research, competitive intelligence, and voice of the customer for CT products.

  • Partner with key markets to establish and nurture First of Kind and seed sites that will help drive commercial uptake of your products

  • Partner with key markets to formulate marketing strategies for assigned products, including product positioning, configuration, and pricing to deliver sales, orders, and margin objectives.

  • Partner with legal and regulatory to ensure compliance of marketing messages/claims.

  • Demonstrated success with creative marketing/position plans.

  • Up to 25% travel expected to attend trade shows, sales events, and customer meetings.

  • May lead a cooperative effort across different domains

  • Works in multinational environment, good communication skills and ability to inspire, convince and mobilize people.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods/techniques for obtaining solutions and driving results

  • Think conceptually from a broad business perspective taking both strategic as well as operational aspects into consideration.

  • Globally fluent, and able to function effectively across culture

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.

  • Able to synthesize market and customer feedback to drive valuable innovations

  • Works in multinational environment with strong personal communication skills able to inspire, convince and mobilize people

  • Responsible for the achievement of relevant metrics for the efforts and deliverables, and meeting the goals and objectives

  • Monitors that applicable Philips processes and best practices are leveraged and consistently implemented.

  • Ensure adherence to established processes, policies and procedures.

  • Escalates issues to reporting manager where appropriate

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (must)

  • > 5 yrs related experience in Product Marketing or adjacent fields (e.g. Field Marketing, Clinical Marketing, Marketing Communications)

  •  Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and existing and new products into solutions; comfortable with making tradeoffs, decisively

  • Demonstrable communication skills and ability to lead an organization in the development and implementation of Go-to-Market strategies for market leading products/solutions

  • Experience in high-tech, healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses in B2B environments

  • Experience in Marketing including market insights, value proposition generation, pricing, communications, channel management and planning

  • Knowledge of marketing processes, strategic planning and budgeting

  • Understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways

  • High-tech product launch experience (clinical experience a nice to have)

  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues

  • MBA and/or PhD desired in related field (optional)
