As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at SmartRent, you will lead strategic product marketing initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with product management. This role involves in-depth market analysis, thought leadership, and relationship management with key stakeholders. The Senior Product Marketing Manager contributes to the overall success of the product marketing team. In this advanced role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies that elevate SmartRent's market presence and drive sustained growth.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Engineering, Support, and Account Management teams to deliver comprehensive product/feature training. Maximize internal knowledge and external adoption and engagement through effective communication and training programs.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies that drive key marketing and business results and optimize plans based on performance data.
  • Craft and execute campaigns and leverage organic channels to reach our customers and help grow their understanding and adoption of SmartRent's product portfolio and translate technical features into benefit-focused messaging. Enhance user adoption by creating compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences.
  • Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and digital strategies, including campaign goals, messaging, calls to action, segmentation strategy, adoption campaigns, marketing distribution channels, and campaign schedule. 
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies that increase developer awareness, acquisition, and revenue. 
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and other Marketing teams to conduct market and customer research to deeply understand target audiences, market trends, and competitive offerings.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related technical field and 3-5 years of work experience in product marketing OR 5-7 years of experience in marketing and managing multiple enterprise software products.
  • Highly analytical and diligent personality with the ability to strategize and execute GTM plans.
  • Expertise in market research and positioning complex enterprise products within a competitive landscape.
  • Intellectually curious, empathetic, and driven to solve hard problems.
  • Savvy communicator who can distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging.
  • Successful track record of collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with Hive, Hubspot, Intercom, JIRA, Confluence, Tutorial, Showpad, Figma, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Must be passionate about the business with a constant desire to learn more and improve the user experience!

  • Eagerness and ability to write technical content.
  • Sales enablement experience and the proven ability to conduct live training/demos for internal teams.

NOTE: Must be willing to work in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. We have a hybrid work environment and expect our team members to be in-office Monday-Thursday (4 days a week) with Friday being remote.
