As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will serve as the business owner and strategic storyteller for a critical area of our portfolio, helping shape market perception, accelerate growth, and drive customer adoption. This role will be focused primarily on BlackLine's SAP Solution Extension business and broader SAP ecosystem initiatives, while providing opportunities to influence additional solution areas as our portfolio and go-to-market strategy evolve. Own the Business Narrative
- Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly articulate BlackLine's unique value in the market.
- Translate complex financial operations, ERP, and AI-driven innovations into compelling stories that resonate with executives, practitioners, partners, analysts, and customers.
- Continuously refine market narratives based on customer insights, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and evolving business priorities. Drive Go-to-Market Strategy
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, solution enhancements, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, Corporate Marketing, and Strategic Alliances to align strategy and execution.
- Define target audiences, buyer journeys, market opportunities, and growth strategies that accelerate pipeline, adoption, and expansion. Act as the GM of Your Domain
- Develop deep expertise in your assigned solution area, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer challenges.
- Monitor business performance, market trends, customer adoption, and competitive activity to identify risks and opportunities.
- Make strategic recommendations that influence product direction, commercialization strategies, and investment priorities. Lead SAP Ecosystem Marketing
- Serve as the primary product marketing lead supporting BlackLine's SAP Solution Extension business.
- Partner with SAP stakeholders, alliance teams, and internal cross-functional leaders to strengthen BlackLine's position within the SAP ecosystem.
- Develop joint value propositions, messaging, enablement materials, and market facing content that support SAP-related growth initiatives.
- Lead strategy and content execution for key SAP ecosystem events, with a primary focus on maximizing BlackLine's presence, sponsorship value, and messaging impact at SAP Sapphire conferences. Enable Revenue Teams to Win
- Build impactful sales enablement content including presentations, battlecards, competitive intelligence, customer stories, demos, and solution briefs.
- Equip sales and partner teams with the messaging, tools, and confidence needed to effectively position BlackLine and win against competitors.
- Deliver training and enablement programs that improve field readiness and execution. Champion the Voice of the Customer
- Engage directly with customers, prospects, partners, and industry influencers to understand evolving needs and market trends.
- Leverage customer insights to influence messaging, content development, product strategy, and go-to-market priorities.
- Identify and cultivate customer advocates who can amplify BlackLine's story through references, events, case studies, and thought leadership opportunities. Shape Market Perception

Salary Range:
$190,000.00-$238,000.00Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.
In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring candidates have clear information about compensation expectations. For roles that include variable incentive components such as an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) or On-Target Earnings (OTE), the compensation structure may follow a split model – for example, a 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40 ratio between base salary and variable incentive.
