Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help drive GTM efforts for CarGurus' dealer products. You will partner closely with Sales and Product to support the creation of the product roadmap, bring our products to market and drive product success. You are deeply knowledgeable about our dealer customers and are able to translate insights into action. The ideal candidate is able to think big picture while also diving into the details and makes it their mission to ensure we are delighting our dealer customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with product and sales across the entire product lifecycle: working collaboratively to shape the product roadmap, helping to develop and execute GTM strategies, while leveraging insights to drive product success.
  • Support the process to align team's priorities with product and revenue objectives and measure results to ensure we are driving business impact
  • Represent the voice of the customer and develop a deep understanding of our customers and products. Leverage NPS and other customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insight for the product roadmap.
  • Demonstrate the ability to tell a story to stakeholders (driving the "why" behind the work) based on the customer insights that you pull from the data and aggregate
  • Support the development of the strategy behind product positioning and messaging across our suite of dealer products.
  • Work closely with the sales team to make thoughtful, strategy-driven recommendations and provide the tools and resources needed to effectively communicate the value of our dealer products to customers. Create marketing collateral, pitch decks, and other sales enablement materials that are clear, consistent, aligned with CarGurus brand, and also resonating with dealers.
  • Support the development of the creative strategy & portfolio of assets for the B2B Marketing team to drive demand gen and customer retention
  • Demonstrate a strong command of copywriting and creative judgment, ensuring that all marketing communications are clear, concise, and compelling, while also being customer-centric.
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement project management strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives and manage cross-functional dependencies while supporting project teams through complex problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the strategic priorities and roadmap and the impact their work has, while also being proactive and working autonomously, anticipating next steps, stakeholder questions, potential roadblocks, etc. with little day to day oversight and having ownership over their initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (writing-intensive and/or quantitative major preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience with at least 2+ years in product marketing preferred
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills. You are a storyteller with a knack for creating compelling content that will drive results.
  • Can provide concrete examples of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for B2B products.
  • Skilled at developing cross-functional relationships and working in close partnership with product and sales
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.
