As a Senior Product Manager on nCino's consumer lending product group, you'll lead the implementation process of a client’s products and services. In this role, you'll own the vision and roadmap for customer-facing lending workflows that sit at the intersection of a bank's digital front end and its core operations.
You'll partner closely with product designers, engineers, compliance, and sales to uncover priorities, validate what the market needs, and determine what's feasible to build.


 

Essential Functions

  • Ideate - Own the roadmap. Identify next highest priority problems to solve
  • Validate the roadmap with customers. Take output from junior product team members' research to advance the planning
  • Plan - Represent the Product vision for your feature/feature set in planning sessions with Design and Architecture/Eng
  • Build - Be involved in key milestones. Major stakeholder in sprint reviews and weekly demos
  • Launch - Lead customer-facing Early Adopter conversations. Develop strategic launch plan with cross-functional team
  • Grow - Help junior product team members' interpret success metrics, work with customer awareness
  • nCino Product Knowledge - As the owner of your feature/feature set you should be able to lead conversations with customers in all segments about the value of your feature(s) in how they solve business problems as well as the vision and roadmap for the overall experience this feature connects to and how that will further add value to our customers. This will include objection handling through your deep knowledge of how other customers use the feature or have adjusted their business process to gain value
  • Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product decision-making, identify customer behavior patterns, forecast trends, and uncover unmet needs.
  • Apply AI-powered analytics to validate product assumptions, track adoption, and surface opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering to explore and integrate AI/ML features that add value to the customer experience while staying informed on emerging technologies and their potential application across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of experience/proficiency or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience in presenting to multiple layers of a company, including executives
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Experience being involved in the sales cycle and conducting customer interviews
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environment
  • Demonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
  • Travel Requirements - <10%
     

Desired

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile principles
  • Advanced knowledge of the commercial, small business banking, treasury, consumer space in relation to both processes and regulations
  • Experience with loan origination software/technology
  • Background in consumer lending, digital experience, or customer-facing financial products

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:

$93,900.00 - $159,600.00
