Over 10,000 advisors rely on AssetMark for our investment solutions, innovative technology, advanced services, and expertise to help them grow their businesses.

The Opportunity

AssetMark is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Product & Engineering group and own a critical domain within the Salesforce product team.  You will own and evolve all Service Cloud capabilities — ensuring our service workflows, case management processes, and advisor support tools operate with excellence.  This senior role involves owning Salesforce Service Cloud end-to-end, defining product roadmaps and vision, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver major product initiatives and working to continually improve our current platform.  You'll work at a strategic level while maintaining hands-on execution excellence.  This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, design, and the evolution of our Salesforce platform.

We can only consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Charlotte, NC office.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Serve as the primary owner of Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities, ensuring the platform meets the evolving needs of service and operations teams.
  • Define and continually refine the product roadmaps and vision for Service Cloud features and capabilities
  • Ensure engineering teams are productively deployed and aligned with strategic objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex product initiatives
  • Contribute actively to strategy and roadmap development for other parts of the product estate
  • Write actionable user stories that result in meaningful product improvements

Product Design, Development, & Execution:

  • Partner with operations, service, and support leaders to design and continually improve service workflows, leveraging Salesforce best practices.
  • Design significant and complex new features that may require new platform patterns
  • Independently design user experiences and specify shovel-ready platform enhancements
  • Decompose complex product ideas into actionable user stories and lead feature development across multiple teams
  • Track and forecast team capacity, resolving conflicts a quarter or more in advance
  • Run multiple complex projects in parallel while maintaining quality and timeline commitments
  • Quickly ramp up and contribute to other parts of the product estate as needed
  • Fiercely protect engineering time to focus on designing, developing, and shipping product
  • Maintain strong knowledge of technology stack and architecture for your product area
  • Leverage data and technical insights independently to drive strategic decisions

Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement:

  • Act as the product leader for Salesforce service capabilities, representing needs and constraints of service and support functions in all roadmap discussions.
  • Serve as a trusted partner sought after by internal stakeholders
  • Own one or more internal stakeholder relationships at senior levels
  • Demo all features in your area internally and externally, adapting to audience and purpose
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of competitive landscape and industry developments
  • Represent product capabilities and roadmap in high-stakes internal discussions

Leadership & Communication:

  • Excel in cross-functional leadership, building consensus and driving alignment across departments
  • Mentor and develop junior product managers, providing feedback and building team capabilities
  • Assess product, design, engineering, and QA candidates of equivalent or lower seniority
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, tailoring messages from technical details to high-level summaries
  • Identify opportunities to improve SDLC processes and evangelize adoption across teams

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud, including Case Management, Omni‑Channel, Knowledge, Digital Engagement, CTI integrations, Chat, and Service Console best practices.
  • Proven ability to define and execute comprehensive product strategies for complex products
  • Strong technical acumen including understanding of software architecture, APIs, and engineering trade-offs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Data-driven decision making with advanced analytics and customer insight capabilities
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results without formal authority
  • Deep understanding of wealth management, asset management, or fintech industries
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution excellence

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5–8 years of product management experience with demonstrated progression in scope and impact, preferably in fintech or financial services
  • 4+ years of product management experience related to Salesforce
  • Experience owning complete products or major product areas end-to-end
  • Track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and complex product initiatives
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior product management talent
  • Prior experience in a customer service, operations, or advisor support domain is a strong plus.
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant) are nice‑to‑have but not required.

Why Join AssetMark?
