The Role

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems.

The Product Manager will join our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team and lead our Design Coordination product initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the development of our Coordination Issues tool across our internal platform and partner ecosystem, including managing our .NET plugins for various desktop applications. You will conduct market research, perform competitive analysis, engage in customer discovery, and manage the development, release, and promotion of compelling and differentiated products. Your goal is to provide customers with features that enable them to review, collaborate, and proactively manage a project's design documents (both 2D and 3D) to minimize rework and waste during construction.

As a Product Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Director and Senior PM to align strategy, initiatives, and prioritizations for the BIM team. Additionally, this role will require significant cross-team collaboration, coordinating directly with both the Document Management and Platform teams to align cross-tool development and integrations. Clear communication and expectation management at executive and team levels will be critical to the success of this role, ensuring alignment of the GTM strategies, eliminating overlaps in development efforts, and maximizing productivity to deliver value to our customers using agile methodologies.

Studies show that nearly 60% of all jobsite injuries are caused by rework, which could likely be prevented with better design management tools. Additionally, it is estimated that the US disposes of over 50 million tons of new construction waste in landfills each year—equivalent to over 136 Empire State Buildings of waste. The tools you build will directly impact these statistics, improving the health of construction workers and the environment. Procore is leading the market with our SaaS construction platform. Join us in achieving our vision of “improving the lives of everyone in construction” and creating a more sustainable planet for this generation and the next.

This position will report to the Director of Product and be located in our Pune office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Influence a team of mobile, web, and .NET engineers and UX designer, as well as numerous dependent teams across the organization to follow your vision for coordination issues
  • Identify and write product requirements by considering outcome potential, competitive landscape, technical requirements, and user experience
  • Become immersed in the construction industry, syncing with customers and prospects on a weekly basis, to understand the diverse challenges they face in order to guide your team in delivering the highest value for our customers and company
  • Balance customer empathy with horizontal solution thinking—recognize platform approaches that solve multiple problems at once, creating strategic leverage for Procore
  • Effectively use qualitative and quantitative data analysis to help inform the decision-making process
  • Collaborate closely with go-to-market teams for marketing, pricing, and packaging alignment

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience at a global enterprise SaaS software company, preferably working with real-time collaboration products and/or experience in building plugin integrations to Windows applications
  • Customer-centric approach and experience collaborating and conducting discovery with large enterprise companies
  • Experience scaling products and successfully driving their adoption
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional and global teams in an agile software development environment
  • Experience managing products and rollouts with complex dependencies across multiple autonomous product teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate trade-offs for decisions through strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills, demonstrating the ability to break down problems into components structured into platform-first solutions
  • Strong listening skills; Product Management is equally about inquiring as it is advocating
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, UX Design, or a related field is preferred
