The Role

It’s an exciting time at Crossbeam. We have just joined forces with Reveal to change the way companies go-to-market. The merger has earned the support of  some of the world’s best investors: Andreessen Horowitz, Insight Partners, Redpoint, FirstMark and even Salesforce and HubSpot Ventures (yep, the biggest CRMs are investing in the future of go-to-market).

Combined, our unified company has created a powerful network of 25K+ companies, a team of world-class talent, an innovative product roadmap, and a North Star vision of creating a best-of-both-worlds customer experience.

Crossbeam is the first and largest Ecosystem-Led Growth platform. We act as an escrow service for data, allowing companies to find overlapping customers and prospects with their partners while keeping the rest of their data private and secure. Companies use this data to sell more effectively, market to the right audiences, build the right products, collaborate with their service partners, generate demand, inform M&A, and more. This has created an entirely new way of doing business called “Ecosystem-Led Growth” or ELG—and it works: 40% of our customers' closed deals come from their ecosystem.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally to drive the ideation, prioritization, definition, and delivery of features, ensuring we are building category-defining products at a best-in-class pace. This role is focused on our activation, onboarding, and conversion funnels, inclusive of our pricing and packaging infrastructure for our self-serve product. At Crossbeam, we are passionate about creating a product our user’s love. The product team is responsible for defining and executing on the best path to that product, then iterating until the desired outcome is met. This means shipping early, often, and with constant measurement of our progress and success.

Responsibilities include:

  • . Your team will be the primary driver of activation in the product which includes signup, onboarding, and the first realization of value. You understand PLG funnels and how all of these things impact self-serve revenue and pipeline generation.
  • . Your team owns the infrastructure and implementation of our self-serve pricing features. You have experience driving conversions as both net new revenue and expansions through the product.
  • Define the best path to product success in a large product area. You will analyze inputs like our core vision, user feedback, usage data, and the market at large. You will brainstorm, define, and prioritize features to ensure we’re working on the highest impact projects across your product area.
  • Constantly track the success of your product efforts by analyzing usage data and gathering qualitative feedback. Run experiments to reach desired outcomes along the user journey. This data is essential for us to prove we are building a product that makes our users better at their jobs.
  • Communicate with customers and key stakeholders to ensure that our roadmap best aligns with the needs of our company and our market. Act as an internal authority on Crossbeam’s product capabilities and deeply understand the competitive landscape, using your informed perspectives to influence go-to-market strategy.
  • . Make tough decisions about the smartest and fastest path to feature delivery, working to ensure features are delightful and useful.
  • Collaborate daily with product managers, engineering managers, software engineers, and product designers in a fast-paced, end-to-end process to ensure delivery of new features and functionality.
  • . Work closely with Product Marketing on release timing and training to ensure full team alignment and education on the value and use cases for new functionality prior to launch.
  • . Become an expert on our growth and revenue funnels and collaborate with the Growth team on product work impacting the growth funnel as well as analytics on product usage and feature adoption.

These are some of your traits

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a product management role.
  • You have driven activation and/or conversion funnels for a self-serve product.
  • Bonus if you have worked on a product for sales or marketing personas.
  • You have a growth mindset. You value experimentation as a way to quickly iterate on products to achieve successful outcomes.
  • You are an outcome-driven product manager and believe success is not just the launch of a feature, but experimenting to reach the desired outcome.
  • You have a track record of managing and shipping products users love.
  • You are organized and able to coordinate complex projects and manage cross-functional communication with senior leadership.
  • You love talking to customers and hearing the good, great, and not-so-great things they say about your product.
  • You can synthesize analytics, data and feedback into a clear product direction.
  • You have a deep understanding of how customers use and derive value from B2B SaaS platforms. Bonus if you’ve worked as a PM on products for Sales and Marketing teams.
  • You value documentation as a way to record your process, decisions, and outcome of product work.
  • You have deep empathy for users and teammates alike. You represent the voice of the customer but can apply the lens of an internal stakeholder in the same discussion.
  • You have an understanding of a technical team's needs. You are familiar with the modern software development practices used to build and deploy SaaS applications.
  • You’re not afraid to speak up when you have a point of view, but can “disagree and commit” once a final decision is reached.
  • You just read this whole list and got excited.

Values are a social contract that we have with our team, our users, and our communities. They are guiding lights as well as argument-enders, and we expect results delivered in a way that is consistent with these values.

We create value by building trust in our company, our team, and our technology. That goes in all directions, not just between us and our customers but also amongst ourselves. We approach conflict with empathy and curiosity, and ascribe best intentions to all of our collaborators.

This is a startup, and we will act like one. We prioritize impact, take personal ownership of outcomes, act decisively, and get our hands dirty in the process. We communicate clearly, avoid over-engineering, and take risks. This allows us to be creative, innovative, and solution-oriented.

We will not succeed in information silos. We share the good, bad, and ugly about what is happening in our company, which requires us to pay attention, always measure what matters, and hold each other accountable.

In our workplaces, communities, and ecosystems, we shape environments where people feel a sense of belonging. To do this, we work to ensure that stakeholders of all backgrounds are treated equitably and experience psychological and physical safety. This is key to their relationship with our company, their access to opportunities, and their ability to thrive.

We are incredibly lucky to be here — let’s make memories. We will all spend that extra bit of time and energy to energize each other with fun and inspiring experiences. This applies internally and externally, from the smallest interactions to the largest events.
