About ZelloZello is a voice-first communication platform, powered by our industry-leading push-to-talk technology, to improve collaboration and productivity for desk-less workers. With over 175+ million users, we’re the #1 rated push-to-talk app in the world, delivering 9 billion (yes, with a B) messages a month.
At Zello, our company values are at the heart of what we do everyday. We’re proud to serve the frontline, we’re privileged to connect people in times of crisis across the globe, and we’re honored to support first responders.
And this is where you come in.
Zello gives frontline workers instant, voice-first communication, and we are growing fast into the enterprise. Our product team can only take on one large, ambiguous initiative at a time today. We are hiring a hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead our biggest cross-product bet: bringing our consumer and Zello Work product lines together while optimizing for enterprise growth.
After a successful first year, you willHave owned the combination of Zello's consumer and Zello Work product lines end to end, with the plan approved by the end of Q1 and the first milestone shipped by Q2.
Have run a second large, ambiguous initiative in parallel, so Product moved from one major bet at a time to two or more.
Have raised the bar for product thinking across the team by teaching new skills and ways of working.
Lead the strategy and execution for unifying the consumer and Zello Work product lines, from problem framing through shipped milestones.
Run multiple complex workstreams at once, keeping clarity, quality, and follow-through on each.
Partner daily with design, engineering, and data to turn ambiguous, high-stakes problems into shipped product.
Talk directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to get to the underlying problem, and guide those conversations toward outcomes.
Prioritize ruthlessly across Android, iOS, web, and backend, focused on the highest-impact opportunities for users.
Set the example for problem framing, discovery, and decision-making, and coach the other PMs on the team.
Use AI tools in your day-to-day product work and look for new ways to bring AI into how the team operates.
You have 7+ years of product management experience, including leading initiatives from 0 to 1 without heavy oversight.
You set direction, not just deliver. You can point to times you zoomed out, found the highest-impact opportunity, and brought clarity when the path was ambiguous.
You lead with the problem before the solution, pull in the right people early, and move with urgency once the problem is clear.
You build strong rapport with customers and hold your ground with enterprise buyers and executives, handling pushback without losing the room.
You do the hard product work yourself, and can go deep on the decisions, tradeoffs, and details behind your past work.
You are fluent in how software gets built and reason about feasibility and tradeoffs with engineers, without trying to own the technical design.
You push back when consensus would weaken the user outcome, and you uplevel the people around you by asking better questions.
A process role. This is not about defining Jira workflows; it's about driving product thinking and outcomes.
A coding role. You'll be technically fluent, but engineering owns the build.
A people-management role. You'll mentor PMs, with no direct reports.
A big-company PM seat with large teams and heavy tooling. You'll work lean, alongside 4 PMs and 3 designers.
We hire for potential, passion for our mission, and a knack for solving difficult problems over checking every qualification box. We have competitive pay, equity with significant upside, and intentionally design our benefits to encourage healthy and well-balanced employees, flexible schedules and time off. We even offer a sabbatical after every five years of service so you’re able to pursue and enjoy what matters most to you. And of course, we wouldn’t be a technology company without a ping-pong table and free snacks in our break room. Join us!
