Senior Product Manager

Job Description

Following Domain’s acquisition by CoStar Group, our ambition for the marketplace has stepped up significantly. Core Web is central to that ambition. It is where most property seekers first meet Domain, and the pace and quality of what we deliver here will shape what comes next.

As Senior Product Manager for our Property Marketplace Web squad, you’ll lead the evolution of Domain’s core web experience, helping millions of property seekers discover, shortlist and find their next home. You’ll work at the intersection of consumer experience, technology and commercial growth, turning an ambitious product vision into experiences that are intuitive, valuable and built to scale.

You’ll report to the Senior Manager, Product Management, and work alongside a Lead Product Manager whose remit spans several squads and who helps keep direction consistent across them. Within Core Web, you are the voice of product: the roadmap, the backlog and the calls that shape them are yours.

What you’ll do

  • Own and evolve a clear, prioritised product backlog and three-to-six-month roadmap, balancing customer value, business goals and technical feasibility

  • Be the voice of the property seeker, translating customer needs, market insights and data into compelling product opportunities, requirements and user stories

  • Partner day to day with engineering, product design and technology leaders to deliver a high-quality consumer web experience

  • Lead the delivery of initiatives that acquire, engage and retain property seekers across Domain’s web marketplace

  • Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to strengthen organic acquisition and other growth channels

  • Work across consumer, agent and platform squads to improve the end-to-end property search experience

  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritise opportunities, make trade-offs and measure product outcomes

  • Design experiments, prototypes and pilots that test assumptions early and support fast, informed decisions

  • Lead agile ceremonies and create the clarity, momentum and accountability needed to deliver meaningful customer value

  • Communicate product direction, progress, risks and decisions clearly across a broad stakeholder group.

Ideally you’ll have

  • Five or more years of product management, or closely related, experience with a track record of delivering high-impact products and outcomes at scale

  • Experience delivering consumer-facing web products within an agile, cross-functional squad

  • Strong product judgement and the ability to work from first principles, identify the underlying customer problem and make clear decisions when information is incomplete

  • Confidence managing backlogs, roadmaps, feature scope, delivery risks and competing priorities

  • A data-led approach, complemented by curiosity, experimentation and direct engagement with customers

  • The technical acumen to work effectively with engineers and connect business outcomes with technical delivery

  • High agency and a genuine sense of ownership, with the drive to carry initiatives through to delivered outcomes

  • Excellent collaboration, influencing and stakeholder communication skills

  • A tertiary qualification in business, technology or a related discipline

  • Marketplace, classifieds, SEO, organic acquisition or digital advertising experience would be highly regarded, as would product management or Agile/Scrum certification.
