Here, you will find a culture guided by inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health optimization on a global scale. Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Own a Core Mobile platform capability end-to-end (iOS/Android), from problem definition through delivery, adoption, and iteration; ensure outcomes align to business and product objectives
  • Define and manage the capability roadmap, including sequencing, dependency mapping, and release visibility across federated teams contributing to the app
  • Translate product strategy into execution through well-defined backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; actively manage prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Establish and enforce clear "definition of done" and release readiness standards, including quality, operational readiness, and post-release monitoring
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution across engineering, UX, analytics, security, and business; communicate decisions, surface risks, and resolve conflicts
  • Orchestrate complex dependencies and integration strategies across front-end and back-end systems to ensure scalable and coherent solutions
  • Define success metrics and use data to inform decisions, validate impact, and continuously optimize roadmap direction
  • Embed security, compliance, and risk management into planning and prioritization; ensure timely remediation of identified issues
  • Enable platform scalability through reusable patterns, standards, and documentation to support federated delivery
  • Support feature-level financial and capacity planning, aligning roadmap commitments to engineering capacity and investment constraints
  • Improve delivery system effectiveness by removing bottlenecks, tightening feedback loops, and driving consistent operating rhythms
  • Maintain crisp, executive-ready artifacts (roadmaps, dependency views, tradeoff decisions, readiness checklists) that scale decision-making
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience owning technical product or platform capabilities across the full lifecycle: definition, planning, delivery, and optimization
  • Experience driving release readiness and operational quality, with a focus on reducing defects and improving stability
  • Proven solid ability to build and manage roadmaps and backlogs, align work to objectives, and drive prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Proven deep fluency in software development concepts and modern engineering practices; able to credibly engage with engineering teams
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership across multiple teams and stakeholders in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Proven solid Agile execution discipline, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery tracking
  • Proven data-driven decision making, including defining success metrics and using analytics to guide product direction

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience delivering mobile applications (iOS/Android), especially within a shared platform and federated team model
  • Experience with mobile quality, performance, accessibility, and security considerations
  • Familiarity with enterprise product management tools (e.g., backlog management, roadmapping, and delivery tracking systems)
  • Proven ability to define and drive platform standards, governance models, and reusable patterns across teams
  • Proven exposure to AI-assisted product management workflows and tooling to improve planning, analysis, and communication efficiency

At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone. We believe everyone-of every race, gender, sexuality, age, location and income-deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. Today, however, there are still far too many barriers to good health which are disproportionately experienced by people of color, historically marginalized groups and those with lower incomes. We are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes - an enterprise priority reflected in our mission.
