As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the strategy, profitability, and long-term growth of a major product line or portfolio within the business unit. Our team is looking for someone who is strategic, commercially minded, and energized by leading cross-functional initiatives that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and business performance. In this role, you will oversee portfolio strategy, commercialization, pricing, and investment decisions while collaborating across departments to align product direction with company objectives. You will serve as a key commercial leader, ensuring products deliver value to customers, support organizational goals, and contribute to the sustained growth and profitability of the business.

What You’ll Do
  • Own portfolio strategy, business performance, and long-term growth plans for assigned product lines.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability initiatives.
  • Manage product portfolio P&L performance, pricing strategy, and investment priorities.
  • Lead complex NPD, commercialization, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Develop long-range product roadmaps and portfolio growth strategies.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive threats, and strategic business risks.
  • Drive VOC insights into product strategy and business planning decisions.
  • Lead executive-level business cases and growth recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Experience leadership teams.
  • Mentor and develop Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
  • Support strategic planning and long-term business growth initiatives.
  • Participate in key customer engagements, industry events, and strategic business activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsWhat You Bring

Experience That Drives Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, or commercial leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing portfolio growth, profitability, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional business initiatives.
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, technical, or B2B environments preferred.
  • Experience within fire suppression, fire protection, life safety, or technical product industries preferred.
  • Experience managing significant product portfolios with P&L responsibility preferred.

Location

This is a full-time position, on-site at our Maple Grove, MN location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
