WHO IS RATEHUB?

We’re a company on a mission - We are a unique Canadian Fintech that is the one stop shop for all financial needs of the consumer - Save, Spend, Borrow, Invest, and Protect. Every single team member, from product & engineering to sales & marketing, finance, operations, and everything in between is obsessed with one thing;  helping Canadians make better financial choices. And we’re pretty great at it, too. Via our digital application technology and our award-winning in-house brokerages, we help over 2M Canadians per month make a positive impact on their finances. We have many unique businesses - a mortgage brokerage, a life insurance brokerage, a home and auto insurance brokerage, a mortgage originations and servicing business, a Financial Services Marketplace and a content business across Ratehub and MoneySense. 365 days a year we deliver our users the best online mortgage experience, personalized Credit Card and Loans options, and cheaper auto & home insurance policies than they typically get from their existing financial adviser.

Changing how people make financial choices isn’t easy, though. We know that achieving our mission is full of challenges; challenges that can be complex and often unexpected, but that are always interesting, rewarding, and fun to solve as a team. This is where you come in. We are on the hunt for the right kind of people to join us and help lead us forward to continued growth.

Ratehub is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Product team. Reporting directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer, you will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for our Everyday Banking portfolio, partnering closely with the business unit leader to scale this high-growth segment. You’re a strategic, data-driven operator who can anticipate business needs, bring structure to ambiguous problems, and turn complex ideas into world-class digital experiences that empower millions of Canadians to make smarter financial choices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Own the product strategy for the Everyday Banking portfolio (including cards, chequing, savings, investments, and loans), translating market data and user insights into a high-growth vision.
  • Set the vision for AI-driven personalization that anticipates user needs and surfaces the right products and guidance.
  • Drive roadmap alignment and prioritization discussions with executive leadership, securing buy-in on critical trade-offs.
  • Develop deep expertise in fintech trends, competitor movements, and open banking to identify new market opportunities.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Translate strategy into clear product requirements, defining scope, success criteria, and edge cases for the cross-functional pod comprising engineering, design, and QA.
  • Lead the pod through backlog sequencing, scrum ceremonies, and end-to-end delivery.
  • Make high-judgment trade-offs across scope, technical scalability, and timelines, backed by data.
  • Define success metrics and establish reporting to evaluate product performance, surface insights, and communicate results to leadership.
  • Optimize delivery processes and prioritization frameworks to reduce friction, mitigate risk, and accelerate team velocity.
  • Orchestrate end-to-end GTM plans across operational readiness, marketing alignment, and launch execution.

Growth & Funnel Optimization

  • Optimize user funnels, transforming user research and A/B testing data into opportunities that improve conversion and maximize revenue.
  • Partner with marketing and content teams to build high-converting web experiences that strengthen SEO, GEO, and landing page performance.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning a product line end-to-end (ideally within fintech, personal finance, or a high-growth B2C marketplace).
  • Demonstrated success defining and evolving product strategy, rather than simply executing a pre-determined roadmap.
  • Expertise using web analytics, user testing, and A/B testing to drive conversion rate optimization and measure product performance.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum background with a talent for validating concepts through MVPs and lean testing before committing to a full technology build.
  • Fluency incorporating AI tools into the product workflow to accelerate market research, data synthesis, and rapid prototyping.
  • A passion for UX/design and the ability to translate customer and business needs into outstanding products.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership as well as cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled at bringing structure to ambiguous problems, turning vague, open-ended challenges into clear hypotheses, scoped bets, and a sequenced plan.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple workstreams and re-prioritize as conditions change.
  • A genuine interest in the personal finance space and the problems Ratehub is solving for Canadians.

CULTURE FIT:

  • Members first - we prioritize the interests and needs of our members above all else. We solve member pain points and focus on member satisfaction. We start with members, and end with the P&L.
  • Growth mindset - we set ambitious goals and challenge the status quo. We take responsible risks and are accountable for our actions.
  • Better together - we are One team with One common goal. We make our footprint bigger than our foot, leave our egos at the door, support each other to achieve great results as One company.
  • Run after problems - we tackle problems head-on and focus on finding solutions. Obstacles are seen as opportunities for growth and innovation. We have the hard conversations and choose the harder right over the easier wrong. And we do it with a smile.
  • Measure, Learn, Iterate, Innovate - we focus on getting things done. We measure what matters, iterate, learn, iterate many times in a data-driven way, which is how we will innovate.
 BENEFITS & PERKS
  • Competitive Compensation: A salary that reflects your experience and the Canadian market.
  • Remote-First Environment: The flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, with occasional in-person team gatherings for collaboration.
  • Flexible Hours: Autonomy to manage your schedule to support work-life balance.
