Why this role matters:
As Senior Product Manager, Telco Billing Solutions, you'll shape and deliver a unified global tariff model across Vonage Contact Centre (VCC), Vonage Business Communication (VBC) and new products. You'll simplify complex billing processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and a competitive edge for customers internationally. Your strategic leadership and hands-on expertise will turn billing into a distinct strategic advantage.

What you'll do:

Own Telco Rating & Billing Strategy

  • Define and roll out a unified global billing framework covering domestic, international, toll-free, premium-rate, and specialized calling services.
  • Manage multi-currency billing strategies, optimizing pricing, bundles, discounts, and allowances to maximize customer value and business growth.

Lead Implementation & Vendor Selection

  • Evaluate and recommend billing systems—balancing internal development and external vendor partnerships.
  • Directly oversee and ensure successful migration to new billing solutions, with accountability for smooth, large-scale transitions.

Collaborate Cross-functionally

  • Partner with legal, sales, and marketing to update customer agreements, provide comprehensive sales training, and prepare market launches.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to guarantee billing accuracy, transparency, and a seamless customer experience.

Drive Analytics & Insights

  • Deploy analytics for near-real-time billing visibility for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor billing performance, cost-efficiency, usage patterns, and profitability, using insights to refine strategy.

  • Improved billing accuracy and reduced billing disputes.
  • Enhanced operational efficiency in billing processes.
  • Timely execution of tariff and system migrations.
  • Higher customer satisfaction ratings related to billing experiences.

What you'll bring:

  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Approximately 5 years' experience in product management or related roles involving complex billing, ideally within telco or SaaS multi-currency environments.
  • Experience with major billing platforms is advantageous; equivalent experience demonstrating transferable skills will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of telco rating, billing processes, and multi-currency global markets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale system migrations or vendor selection processes.
  • Effective negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and influence diverse teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness, particularly in aligning sales, marketing, and legal teams on product offerings.
  • Experience delivering actionable insights through analytics and reporting platforms.
