The Team:
Join a team of passionate product enthusiasts dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the status quo. Our team is responsible for building the Celonis’ end-to-end Task Mining solution. Task Mining is the technology that allows businesses to capture user interaction (desktop) data, so they can analyze how people get work done, and how they can do it even better. We own all the related components, e.g. the desktop client, the related backend services, the data processing capabilities, and frontend applications. Our collaborative, cross-functional team constantly challenges the norm to drive product excellence.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic product and engineering organization. As the product owner embedded within a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for defining and aligning the team to the product strategy, rigorous prioritization, and supporting execution with clear requirements. Your role will be pivotal in driving the product forward, ensuring it meets customer needs and market demands.
The work you’ll do:
- Shape Multi-Year Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year strategy for our task mining products, aligning with overall company goals.
- Drive Buy-In: Secure agreement and enthusiasm for the product strategy and vision across all levels of the organization.
- Understand pain points: Develop a deep understanding of the market and our customers, their pains, and distill the insights into concise PRDs
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering and design counterparts to bring the strategy to life and successfully lead the product to market. (Design user journeys, define and measure success, provide product guidance to design and engineering teams…)
- Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers and the go-to-market team to understand needs, gather feedback, and iterate on the product to achieve the highest customer impact.
- Product Evangelism: Serve as a subject matter expert and evangelist for your product area, both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A strong analytical or technical background, with a passion for data and insights.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in product management within the enterprise software field, ideally with both enterprise SaaS/Cloud and on-premise products .
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with task mining, process mining, or related data processing technologies would be advantageous
- Skills: Proactive and analytical mindset, collaborative approach, and exceptional communication skills.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and streamlining efforts across multiple engineering teams.
- Adaptability: Comfortable driving clarity in ambiguous situations and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills; German communication skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the enterprise software market and trends.
- Early-Stage Product Experience: Proven track record of bringing a product from early stages through the discovery phase to the scale phase.
