Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of innovative solutions in the air cargo space. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for managing product lifecycles, driving strategic initiatives, and optimizing the customer experience for our air cargo offerings.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, business development, and marketing, to deliver high-impact products that shape the future of the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Innovation:
    • Own the product vision and strategy for Teleport's air cargo offerings, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing the customer experience, and leveraging emerging technologies.
    • Lead the identification of market opportunities, and develop business cases for new product initiatives that align with Teleport’s overall goals and objectives.
    • Stay informed of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify white space opportunities for product innovation.
    • Define the product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals for the air cargo vertical.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, data science, operations, and revenue management, finance and sales, to ensure alignment on product priorities and successful execution of initiatives.
    • Influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders (internal and external), ensuring that all perspectives are integrated into product decisions.
    • Lead and participate in strategic planning sessions, product reviews, and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and progress on key initiatives.
  • Product Execution & Delivery:
    • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of air cargo products, from ideation through development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
    • Set clear, measurable objectives for product success, monitor product performance, and iterate based on data insights and customer feedback.
    • Define and communicate product requirements and user stories to development teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features.
    • Conduct regular competitive analysis and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product effectiveness and market performance.
  • Customer & Market Focus:
    • Engage with air cargo customers, including airlines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and end-users, to gather feedback and refine product offerings.
    • Work closely with the Commercial team to support go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging for the air cargo vertical.
    • Leverage customer data and feedback to continuously improve product offerings, enhance user experience, and optimize product features.
  • Business & Financial Acumen:
    • Lead the development of business cases for new product initiatives, including financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and return-on-investment (ROI) evaluations.
    • Ensure products are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals, driving growth and profitability.

Requirements
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of driving product initiatives in the logistics, air cargo, or supply chain sectors.
    • Deep understanding of the air cargo industry, including operations, key players, and technological trends.
    • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering complex, cross-functional product initiatives from ideation to launch.
    • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, and a strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Skills:
    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform product decisions.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize initiatives and balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and lead teams in dynamic, evolving business contexts.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus).
