We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our new solution. This role is a unique opportunity to build a product from the ground up, playing a pivotal role in shaping its vision, strategy, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing technologies, data management, and experience managing complex product development cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define the vision and strategy for our new product, aligning it with the company’s overall goals and market needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key opportunities and differentiators.
- Develop a comprehensive product roadmap, setting clear goals and milestones.
- Product Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive the product development process.
- Define and prioritize product features, ensuring they align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Work closely with the engineering team to translate product requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Oversee the development process from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Customer and Market Insights:
- Engage with customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to gather feedback and insights that inform product decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including data privacy regulations and digital marketing tools.
- Analyze customer behavior, product usage, and market trends to continuously improve the product.
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the new product, in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
- Create compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with target customers, including digital marketers, IT professionals, and data analysts.
- Support the sales team with product training, demos, and materials to effectively communicate the product’s value proposition.
- Product Lifecycle Management:
- Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market conditions to iterate and improve the product post-launch.
- Manage the product lifecycle from launch through growth, maturity, and eventual optimization or decommissioning.
- Lead the development of product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and compliance materials.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or Engineering)
Experience:
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in digital marketing, data management, or related technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products, particularly those requiring technical complexity and integration.
- Experience with data privacy tools is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, tag management systems, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights and strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Confluence).
- Understanding of Tag Managers, including their implementation, use cases, and potential challenges.
