Job Description
The Senior Product manager Rare will lead programs that enhance our overall commercial customer engagement strategy designed to ensure we effectively engage with health care professionals. The role will be focused on rare key customers and will ensure that the Affiliate strategy is properly delivered and implemented. This involves utilizing multi-channel tactical programs created by and above the affiliate team.
The Senior PM will deliver and devise impactful commercial strategies and aligned innovative tactical programs, that develop the company’s image and position in the relevant market sectors, to meet customer needs. The position holder is expected to have a cross functional view (core Team Rare and Multichannel)
What you'll do
- Develop strategies, aligned innovative tactics, communication events and projects that increase customer engagement. Work with medical and market access teams to ensure that promotional materials are relevant and impactful for the local market and specific targets. Responsible for executing on roll out of all campaigns developed. Roll out includes planning and leading training of the field teams on relevant items with meaningful measures in place to demonstrate impact of the program on the affiliate business.
- Allocate and manage the budget assigned to the TO. Responsibility for compliance within the allocated budget and for ensuring an optimal use of resources for the products in consultation with Business Unit Head Italy.
- Maintain and build relationship with Rare Experts or other important SHs . Participate in the process of every Stakeholder Account Planning (SAP) to identify feasible opportunities and potential best practices across the different plans and ensure a proper follow-up of the action plans
- Build together with the CMI the competitive landscape and collaborate to the implementation of market research initiatives.
- In partnership with the Customer Excellence team include digital customer engagement programs into the commercial action plans or projects. Support and share digital innovations throughout the commercial organization.
- Job holder must respect internal rules and all rules based on the respective legal and ethical (AIFP codex) standards. Any safety related information concerning Biogen products (adverse event / suspicion on adverse event etc.) must report to the Affiliate Safety Designated Staff in accordance with current internal company rules. Any quality related information concerning Biogen products (product complaints / product defects / suspicion on product defects / falsified medicinal products etc.) must reports directly to the Manager, Quality & Governance in accordance with current internal company rules.
Qualifications
- Academic Degree (Bachelor or above) or equivalent experience
- Compliance training
- Meet local pharma industry requirements
- Education and training in sales methodology and sales technique
- Minimum experience required for this position
- At least 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience
- Consistent track record of success
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, well-developed project management skills
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
