About the Opportunity ✍️

The Payments Product Manager will play a pivotal role in building and scaling MoonPay’s payments platform, with a specific focus on enabling fiat-to-crypto transactions and fostering stablecoin adoption. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and business strategy, helping to drive innovation and ensure the success of our payments ecosystem.

Product Ownership

* Define and execute the vision and strategy for MoonPay’s payment products, including fiat on- and off-ramps and stablecoin integration.

* Develop and manage a product roadmap, aligning with company goals and stakeholder needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.

* Collaborate with business partners to identify new payment solutions and opportunities for growth.

Market Insights and Strategy

* Conduct market research to stay informed about emerging trends in payments, stablecoins, and DeFi.

* Understand customer needs and translate them into product features and enhancements.

Execution and Delivery

* Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring smooth delivery of payment solutions.

* Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve and iterate on offerings.

Innovation and Scalability

* Pioneer solutions for reducing friction in cross-chain and fiat-to-crypto transactions.

* Design scalable infrastructure that supports both retail and enterprise use cases, including payment rails, rewards systems, and DeFi integrations.

About You 🙋

You’re a Product Manager that knows how to drive meaningful outcomes.  You’re comfortable utilizing data and separating signals from the noise. Launching products is a collaborative & cross-functional effort so you’re adept at communicating with different stakeholders and understanding their needs.  You know how to bring structure and focus to teams.

You have a track record of launching successful products or features in payments, fintech or adjacent highly regulated industries such as crypto or lending.   You may not be a crypto native (no crypto experience is necessary), but you’re familiar with payment lifecycles, the different parties in payments (acquirers, banks, etc.) and capable of reading a flow of funds document.
