Responsibilities

  • Oversee Product Lifecycle: Manage the complete product lifecycle, including introducing new features and sunsetting outdated ones, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop and Maintain Product Roadmap: Publish and update the product roadmap in a centralized location, securing stakeholder sign-off and ensuring it reflects strategic priorities and customer requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain a well-prioritized backlog with actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and organizational OKRs.
  • Create Comprehensive PRDs: Develop detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that provide clear direction for engineering and design teams to execute without ambiguity.
  • Track and Report Product Performance: Measure the effectiveness of product initiatives by monitoring success metrics and regularly reporting performance to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support Product Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that enhance product adoption and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet necessary regulatory and compliance standards, including PCI, CCPA, and HIPAA, in relevant markets and industries.
  • Foster Innovation: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
  • Publish Competitive Analysis Reports: Maintain and share comprehensive competitive analysis reports, highlighting opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Translate product requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration is a strong plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Product Management role.
  • Experience as a Product Owner, writing PRDs, writing outcome driven user stories, and facilitating backlog refinement.
  • Advanced knowledge of requirements management, product ideation, and PRD creation.
  • Extensive experience in payment technologies, including payment gateways, transaction workflows, fraud prevention systems, and reconciliation processes.
  • Deep understanding of industry standards such as tokenization, authentication protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI compliance).
  • Proven track record in designing, launching, and scaling payment solutions that address merchant needs.
  • Candidates are required to have a firm understanding of merchant acquiring and the payment processing lifecycle while advocating for our users throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with chargeback management, settlement processes, and working with acquirers, issuers, and payment networks.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in system architecture and managing technical trade-offs.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate the value and benefits of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in creating comprehensive PRDs and writing outcome-driven user stories.
  • Experience facilitating backlog refinement and maintaining a well-prioritized backlog aligned with business goals.
  • Adept at representing customer and merchant needs within a product development scrum team.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and improving product workflows, sprint rituals, and team communication to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Experience ensuring and maintaining PCI compliance is required.

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000/year plus all benefits in our Total Rewards Plan. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills and qualifications.
