About the Senior Product Manager:

PayIt is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic Payments team. You will help to shape product strategy for our innovative platform which empowers government agencies to streamline their operations, enhance citizen services, and drive digital transformation. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our payments product offerings.  You will report to the Director of Payments Products.

This candidate is ideally based out of Kansas City however, highly qualified candidates will also be considered in the following markets: AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MI, MO, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, SC, UT, VA, WA, WI.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Help shape PayIt’s payments product roadmap and build a prioritization framework that captures relevant tradeoffs for the team while creating organizational alignment
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality payments capabilities from start to finish - through development of business cases, detailed product requirements, implementation plans and execution
  • Leverage insights to recommend and implement enhancements to enrich the government client and resident experience
  • Collaborate with revenue teams, operations, customer success and engineering to assess cross-partner value, scope of effort, and priority to deliver delightful, reusable and differentiated capabilities
  • Stay current on industry best practices and challenges relevant to the payments industry, incorporating them into the product direction and roadmap.

What You’ll Need to Have:

  • 5+ years experience in experience in product management with strong leadership, product management skills, and EQ
  • Professional experience building payments products or working in FinTech or financial services as a product manager.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulation of customer problems and solutions
  • Ability to define and translate a vision into detailed and actionable plans
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and making a positive impact in the public sector.
  • Ability to ensure that requirements and client needs are aligned with the product vision/roadmap
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent technical systems knowledge and the strategic ability to think beyond a tactical level, finding innovative, diverse, and elegant solutions that drive value.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to quickly shift mindset and change priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience delivering products in the GovTech space
  • Experience with card processing, bank payments and/or, digital wallets

Annual Salary Range:

$110,000$150,000 USD
