Senior Product Manager - Payments and Billing

As a Senior Product Manager focusing on Payments and Billing in Gett, you’ll be the expert in how our customers pay for their rides. You will drive the vision and execution of the entire payments lifecycle, from initial payment setup to billing and post-trip transactions. Your work will directly impact millions of users by creating a seamless, secure, and reliable experience that instills confidence and loyalty.

This role requires a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including processing, fraud detection, and multi-currency billing, as you work to optimize conversion rates and reduce costs. You'll partner with stakeholders across engineering, finance, legal, and customer support to build and launch features that simplify and streamline the user journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy for all payment methods, including credit cards, digital wallets, and alternative payment solutions.
• Lead the entire product lifecycle for payments and billing features, from initial ideation and market research to release and post-launch optimization.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like payment success rates, authorization rates, and billing accuracy to identify opportunities for improvement and drive product decisions.
• Work closely with Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure our payment systems are secure, compliant, and scalable across all markets.
• Conduct A/B tests and user research to uncover insights that improve payment conversion and user trust.
• Manage a roadmap that balances user-facing features (like new payment options) with critical backend initiatives (such as fraud prevention and cost optimization).

Requirements

• A proven track record of managing and delivering complex payment, billing, or financial technology products in B2C and B2B environments - A must
• Deep knowledge of the payment ecosystem, including payment gateways, merchant accounts, and security standards like PCI compliance.
• Experience with mobile app products - An advantage 
• Data-driven with a strong ability to define, monitor, and analyze key payment metrics and funnels.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with experience leading diverse teams and presenting to executive leadership.
• Familiarity with billing systems, subscription models, and multi-currency transactions is a strong advantage.
