Company Description
Welcome to the good side of tech 👋
You might have heard about us, but with a different name: Znanylekarz. It all started 10 years ago, when we asked ourselves: is anyone in healthcare thinking about patients? We jumped in and we empowered patients by giving them access to leave and read reviews about their visit. We then provided doctors with the technology to manage bookings easily and save time, so they could devote themselves to what they always wanted: treating patients. And today is the day in which we ask you: wanna join us in the next step of making the healthcare experience more human?
Docplanner at scale
We are leaders in 13 countries so far, and more than 90 million patients trust us every month. 300.000+ specialists believe in us and our product, and so do leading venture capital funds such as Point Nine Capital, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and One Peak Partners. And yet, employing over 2.500 people all over the globe, we managed to keep the startup-mindset we started with over 10 years ago.
And why should you join us?
Because it feels good to tell your family and your friends how you made the world a little bit better. You go to bed knowing that what you do matters, and that your talents align with your beliefs.
We want to make the healthcare experience more human, and that starts with you being you. We believe that taking the diversity of human experience into account makes a better healthcare experience for all . We’re not just different: we embrace diversity. We will encourage you to come to work your whole self, and that includes not coming to the office at all if you prefer not to, as we're 100% remote friendly.
How would you be impacting our mission?
At Docplanner, we are redefining the way payments work for healthcare—offering an opportunity to solve complex, real-world problems at an unmatched scale. As Senior Product Manager - Payments, you will lead one of our autonomous product teams focusing on transforming the payment experience for millions of patients and doctors. From booking an appointment to a seamless post-visit checkout, you’ll build flexible, intuitive tools that make payments frictionless for healthcare.
If you have experience in e-commerce or fintech and enjoy tackling challenges that no one has solved before, this role is for you.
What makes this role unique?
-
A Groundbreaking Opportunity: Build a payments solution at a global scale that no other healthcare company has attempted. Imagine a future where patients never need to "touch their wallets"—everything is seamlessly integrated.
-
Complex and Challenging Problems: Payments for healthcare involve multiple stakeholders—doctors, patients, insurers—and require solving harder, less obvious challenges than typical fintech solutions. If you’re motivated by complexity, this is the place to make your mark.
-
Impact and Autonomy: You’ll work in an environment moving toward value-stream-based teams, where decisions are made faster, and ownership is real.
-
Career Growth: This role starts with leading one team but has a clear path to scale. As the Payments domain grows, you’ll have the opportunity to lead multiple teams, influencing the product direction on a much larger scale.
The Team
-
23 people currently, across product, engineering, design, and research.
-
2 existing teams focused on doctors and patients. With you onboard, we’re restructuring to deliver end-to-end value streams efficiently.
-
We foster a collaborative environment where teams work autonomously but stay connected to achieve big-picture goals.
Team setup
We are currently regrouping ourselves to match better, understand, and deliver the scope for our end users. Doctors and patients are the main stakeholders we optimize for. This requires an end-to-end understanding of the impact of payments. In the future, we’d like to form teams based on the value stream for each user.
