About the Role

Seeking a highly motivated, customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to oversee flagship products within our Patient Experience portfolio: Online Scheduling and Patient Intake. You will own and manage the core scheduling and pre-appointment experience for both patients and providers, ensuring streamlined and effective onboarding of data collection and integration into the Tebra platform. This role involves daily management of products used by patients and providers to enhance their healthcare experience.

As the Senior Product Manager, Online Scheduling and Patient Intake, you will lead the development of new products, define the future of our product experience, and deliver a radically simpler, more advanced healthcare solution. Your passion for advancing our mission—to help patients feel deeply known, connected, and cared for by their care team—will empower providers to offer delightful and modernized healthcare experiences.

Join us in our mission to unlock better healthcare by helping independent practices deliver modernized care to patients everywhere. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to drive this transformation.

Your Area of Focus

  • The Patient Experience Product Portfolio focuses on delivering solutions for our practices and providers that furthers the patient connection for better health outcomes. The continued digital revolution of healthcare provides an excellent opportunity to bring powerful yet easy to use digital solutions patients desire into the hands of providers. Your products include, but are not limited to the patient and provider scheduling experience, pre- and post-appointment reminders, intake forms and post-appointment provider review / patient recommendation surveys.
  • Product Execution: You will define, build, and launch exceptional products
    • Feature Specification: You have a feel for the level of effort required for a feature you are defining, and take that into account when drafting your requirements.
    • Product Delivery: You understand technical and design trade-offs, and can work with your team to find creative solutions that strike the right balance between speed and quality. You know how to motivate your team to push through challenges, and do whatever it takes to get your project out the door.
    • Product Quality: You are efficient at assessing the quality of a release and making a decision on whether it meets the bar for release.
  • Customer & Market Insight: You understand and fulfill customer needs
    • Fluency with Data: When assessing a product opportunity, you know how to formulate the right business questions that should be asked, and then how to track down data that can inform a decision. You can connect project-level outcomes to key metrics that drive your product area, and that are meaningful outcomes for the business.
    • Voice of Customer: You foster a close relationship with users of the product, and leverage feedback from multiple sources (customers, NPS, Sales) to help prioritize roadmap decisions. You can effectively balance feedback from users with the business needs of the company, and make the right trade-off decisions.
    • UX Design: You can use low-fidelity tools (whiteboard, Miro) to outline a design approach for a project, and then work with your team to translate that into a higher-fidelity representation of the feature. You understand the role that design plays in explaining product functionality to the user, and you work with design to create products that are easy to understand and use.
    • Understand Market Opportunities & Competitive Landscape: Know and be able to communicate the market dynamics and competitive landscape. Understand where Tebra sits competitively, and be able to deliver an accurate SWOT analysis to drive the opportunities across our competitive landscape.
  • Product Strategy: You deliver business impact via product innovation
    • Business Outcome Ownership: You drive for business results with a view towards holistic product success. You can not only assess results and define next steps, but also can make decisions that take into account team and company level trade-offs. You can clearly articulate to your peers why your current work is important to the company.
    • Product Vision and Roadmapping: You are responsible for crafting a near-term product roadmap that aligns with the broader team and company goals. You understand how to make trade-off decisions that maximize value. You define a clear vision for your product area.
    • Strategic Impact: You make a meaningful impact to the strategy through day-to-day product execution and through your contributions to the roadmap. You will bring in ideas from other industries and passion for solving customer problems in new, innovative ways.
  • Influencing People: You take initiative and influence how we market, sell, and talk to our customers about the product and product advancements. You are an excellent communicator adjusting the delivery for varying levels of the organization.
    • Stakeholder Management: You can not only identify the stakeholders that must be consulted on your project, but can predict their feedback and make sure you have a plan to address it before reaching out. You seek to find product solutions that strike the right balance of stakeholder needs. You can effectively escalate when a solution cannot be found. You can coordinate with third party vendors and strategic partners to ensure that initiatives are well-defined and delivered.
    • Team leadership: You seek out informal opportunities to mentor more junior members of your team, helping to guide the project execution. You can lead cross-functional teams to drive holistic product success.
    • Managing up: You are able to build buy-in and support for your projects from senior leaders both within and outside the product organization. You work with your manager to put together a concrete, actionable career development roadmap.

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years experience bringing customer-facing technology products to market, 3-5 years in a senior product management or product strategy experience
  • High level of experience with service / API-driven technologies
  • Superb written/presentation/oral skills, ability to easily interface with customers, executives, peers and engineers
  • Ability to identify metrics/key performance measures and use data to drive decisions that enhance the customer & user experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable with an often fast-paced and dynamic startup work environment
  • Comfortable with being hands as needed and understands that no job is beneath a team member
  • Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies
