We are building the monitoring and security platform for developers, IT ops teams and business users in the cloud age.
The Role

Datadog Notebooks provide customers with a collaborative surface for ad-hoc data-exploration, technical documentation, incident postmortems, runbooks and advanced data analysis.

Think of it as if Google doc / Notion and jupyter notebooks had a baby.

As a Senior Product Manager, Notebooks, you will engage directly with customers to gather their requirements, and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders from multiple internal teams to augment the shared capabilities of our 20+ product suite. You will operate at the intersection of documentation, collaboration, data visualization, observability and business intelligence.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive an ambitious product vision and roadmap for Notebooks
  • Partner with customers and understand our users (software developers, ops engineers) deeply; design solutions they find intuitive and delightful
  • Scope, spec, and design new features, working with a cross-functional team of product managers, product designers, engineers, and analysts to achieve product-market fit for new initiatives
  • Continuously monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on the product to optimize user experience and business impact
  • Work with marketing and customer success teams to evangelize new features and services that are easy to use and understand
  • Independently research the market and competition
  • Immerse yourself in everything monitoring (theory, applications, best practices) and pour your expertise and ideas back into building a great product

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Management
  •  Experience in enterprise software serving a technical audience and / or data visualization / analysis software is a strong plus
  • You have domain knowledge of data visualization, data insights or business intelligence
  • You have a strong sense of ownership with an entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and business results, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights to drive product strategy
  • You have sharp communication skills and the willingness to present your ideas to technical stakeholders and executives alike
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Visualization, Data Engineering or equivalent experience.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We know not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your experience, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits & Growth:

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
