Job Description:
The Senior Product Manager, Marketplace Monetization will lead the development and growth of monetization products that drive value for Poshmark’s community and incremental revenue for Poshmark. This is a unique opportunity to be the founding member of a new team at Poshmark, whose charter is to incubate products that drive user and business value. The candidate will take products from idea to scale by building and testing with velocity in partnership with engineering, analytics, user research, finance and design.
Responsibilities:

Build products that are deeply-rooted in user needs/problems

Identify and prioritize the highest impact opportunities that drive user and business value
-
Execute all stages of product development (concept, build, test, scale etc…) with clear metrics and milestones

Monitor the health of the business by defining and tracking the right metrics and counter-metrics
-
Negotiate trade offs with principles (or framework) and measure long-term effects of products
-
Collaborate well with cross-functional teams ensuring they are heard; get them bought-into product vision

Balance short and long term term: drive long-term impact without compromising on delivering short-term results
6-Month Accomplishments:

Release and scale products to deliver the goals

Propose and get buy-in for a trade-off framework for arbitration of monetization launches

Establish a planning and execution cadence with cross-functional partners: engineering, design, analytics, finance etc…

Partner with Analytics to establish monetization dashboard and holdouts
-
Contribute to Annual Operating Plan
12+ Month Accomplishments:

Execute on product growth initiatives to meet annual AOP goals

Incubate 1 or more product initiatives that align with Monetization’s 2025 vision and strategy

Educate cross-functional teams on tradeoff arbitration

Hire product manager(s) to support growth of the product
Requirements:
-
Experience building and shipping advertising products
-
Adept at identifying and prioritizing opportunities and executing (e.g. A/B testing) with velocity
-
Experience driving large, complex projects with cross-functional colleagues.

Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Experience with marketplaces is desirable
Salary Range:
$158,000.00 - $231,000.00 Annual
