Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the KYC/AML product vision and strategy with Spendesk Financial Services (SFS), ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Drive innovation in customer due diligence and risk monitoring, balancing user experience, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
- Own the product roadmap, setting clear and actionable goals that drive measurable impact while ensuring close alignment with SFS governance and operational efficiency objectives.
- Proactively identify, test, and implement enhancements to ensure they remain effective, scalable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Leverage data and analytics to optimise cost, risk detection, reduce false positives, and monitor key compliance metrics.
- Embed Compliance by design, ensuring Spendesk Financial Services meets AML/CFT regulations.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance and Operations teams to implement and maintain effective customer risk assessment frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement in KYC onboarding conversion rates while maintaining robust risk controls.
- Lead vendor selection and integration strategy for identity verification providers, screening databases, and monitoring tools.
- Optimise cost efficiency across verification methods while maintaining high compliance standards.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with 3+ years specifically in KYC/AML infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, identity verification technologies, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proven experience launching and scaling compliance products in a regulated environment across multiple markets.
- Solid understanding of AI Models, its applications, experience or interest on applying AI in product.
- Strong expertise in financial crime prevention, risk scoring methodologies, customer due diligence processes, financial crime typologies, mitigation strategies, FATCA/CRS.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Experience with API-first architectures and compliance technology integration.
- Familiarity with data protection standards (GDPR) and emerging compliance technologies.
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in RegTech.
- Communication: Fluent in English. French is a plus.
