We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to assist in the planning, execution and delivery of our core listing and property products for agents and consumers, to aid buyers in finding the perfect home. The team is focused on building foundational data sets, services, and experiences to help agents quickly and easily find the information needed to best serve their clients.

You should be organized and thrive while managing several concurrent, large-scale initiatives. You have extensive full stack Product Management experience, including user-facing frontend features (both web and mobile-native) and backend data stores and services. You are also passionate about real estate technology, enabling agent entrepreneurs, and want to solve real world customer problems. You are able to communicate in a clear and concise manner and be comfortable interacting with your partners in design, engineering, and research, as well as executives and other stakeholder groups. You have proven experience building consensus, establishing rationale for prioritization, and communicating roadmap status, research findings, and escalation resolutions on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full software product development lifecycle, including ideation, user research, design, development, and go-to-market, for core listings, buildings, and properties data, services, and experiences
  • Create, manage, and execute a prioritized roadmap of data-heavy products that optimizes for ease of adoption, rapid execution at high quality, low cost to build and maintain, and high degree of impact for Compass agents and their clients
  • Work in close collaboration with product, engineering, design, research, legal, and marketing partners to develop intuitive and value-creating user experiences
  • Interview agents, sales managers, regional leads, and other stakeholders, and review customer feedback and support channels to identify, prioritize, and solve both nationwide and region-specific customer experience issues related to listing, building, and property data, to improve customer satisfaction and average weekly sessions
  • Serve as the primary product team point of contact for escalations related to listing, building, and property data quality
  • Oversee and iteratively evolve products, data quality mechanisms, and operational processes to maintain and improve data coverage/quality and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and present periodic progress updates to leadership and key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5-9 years experience in progressive product management roles, building and launching successful products and features, preferably with a data product-heavy focus
  • Ability to effectively gather and prioritize requirements from disparate sources, going beyond user requests to get to key needs, and rationalize them across stakeholder differences
  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization
  • Comfort with collaborating with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Strong technical and data background, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience

Nice to have

  • B2C / Marketplace / Search / Data product experience
