Senior Product Manager - Identity, Authentication, Signatory

Your role:

We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in the Identity and Authentication domain. Ideally, you have worked for a company specializing in IAM, authentication, or digital signature solutions (e.g., remote signing capabilities), or have participated in large-scale projects related to the European Wallet or eID/eIDAS initiatives. Experience as an active member of one or more working groups associated with standardization bodies-such as W3C, FIDO, NIST, ANSSI, BSI, ETSI, or IETF-is highly desirable.

If you do not yet possess this experience, we expect that you are proactively seeking such opportunities and are engaged with open standards or subject matter experts in the field. As a Product Manager at Futurae, you will play a hands-on role in shaping and launching a new product line focused on fraud prevention in online interactions.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of early-stage initiatives, building on our existing foundation while driving the development of key new features. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by influencing the future direction of our platform.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape-including PSD3/PSR, EU Digital Wallet ARF, ETSI, and related frameworks as well as the ability to operate effectively in a technical environment. As you will be working closely with our security teams, good understanding of the cybersecurity fundamentals is essential.

• Mandatory requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Science preferred to be Computer Science, Engineering; Masters, or advanced degree is a plus.
• CEFR C2 english proficiency or native speaker
• 6+ years of combined work experience as Software Developer, Product Manager, Solutions Architect or similar roles
• Good understanding of cryptography and privacy related topics
• Able to travel as needed for conferences and in-person meetings. Estimated travel time is 15% for this position, but travel can be variable.

• Responsibilities:
• Become a domain expert on topics related to Identity & Authentication, trust signals (anti-fraud) and more
• Collect feedback from customers and internal teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for deeper exploration.
• Create and maintain a roadmap for future enhancements and expansions of the services you’ll be focusing on.
• Oversee the development of the solution, getting into details with data scientists and engineers on design decisions and execution prioritization
• Develop business cases, product requirements, and go-to-market plans.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and drive improvements.

• Four or more of these skills:
• Experience in digital fraud, ideally in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of related regulatory frameworks (e.g., eIDAS 2.0, PSD3)
• Experience with federation and standards such as OpenID or SAML
• Proven project management, coordination and communication capabilities. You make sure everyone is aligned and working towards a common goal.
• Experience building SaaS (Software as a Service) products in cybersecurity, fraud, or building complex on-premise B2E products.
• You have the ability to read code and engage with developers or Data Scientists about technical topics
• You have experience with GCP cloud environment or equivalent products (Azure, AWS).

• Bonus points:

• Experience with tools such as Figma, Gitlab, Github, Google Data Studio.
• Experience working in a startup.
• Understanding of fintech, online payments, digital wallets.
• You have worked in similar industries such as biometrics.
