The Role
SoFi is looking for a data-driven and user-centric Senior Product Manager to own and optimize our end-to-end home loan origination funnel across digital experiences. This role will be pivotal in enhancing member experiences and driving revenue growth through rigorous A/B and multivariate testing.
You will be responsible for driving home loan originations by reducing friction, increasing application completions, and accelerating funding rates. You will drive innovative functionality that disrupts competitors and further differentiates SoFi’s home loan offering. The ideal candidate will be a growth-focused operator who thrives at the intersection of conversion rate optimization and user experience.
This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, design, data science, user research, marketing, operations, finance, risk, legal, compliance and executive teams to set a product strategy, define, and prioritize features. You’ll play the critical role of bridging the technical and business worlds to deliver product enhancements that delight our members and drive our business forward. You will be expected to set ambitious goals, sweat the details and deliver with urgency.
What you’ll do
- Build disruptive innovative solutions in a customer-centric environment
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for your engineering squad, writing detailed requirements and partnering closely with developers
- Own instrumentation and data for your products to drive deep understanding, innovation and product plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on requirements and timelines
- Experiment constantly to drive customer learnings and customer impact
- Operate in a fast-paced agile environment, making trade-offs and decisions to deliver iteratively while driving toward long-term goals
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, sales, operations, legal, compliance, capital markets, and executive management to translate customer needs into a product
- Be a champion of SoFi’s values
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a technical, finance, or quantitative field
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience developing and launching features across both 1st and 3rd party platforms, consistently prioritizing a superior user experience
- Superior communication skills, written and verbal. Experience presenting to executive leadership
- Experience delivering quality software that solves business and user needs
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; able to dive into financial and operational metrics
- Experience owning end-to-end product delivery, from discovery through launch and iteration
- High bias for action and ownership—comfortable operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
- Passion for your users! You do right by them, always
- Ability to work with remote teams
Nice to have
- Experience with hypothesis-based product experimentation
- Experience speaking to actual users, empathizing with them and gathering insights, and translating those insights into meaningful product enhancements
- Experience in the Fintech space

What We Do
SoFi wasn’t built to be a bank. Or a technology company. We were built for one mission: help people achieve financial independence so they can realize their ambitions. Redefining an entire industry isn’t easy work—and it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes a certain kind of team. People with diverse perspectives and expertise, united by a common sense of purpose. People willing to challenge assumptions but always do the right thing. People proving that innovation and responsibility don’t have to compete, but can come together to create something truly unconventional in the world. For the last eight years, we’ve been charting this new path forward. We call it The SoFi Way. At SoFi, we don’t just talk about culture: we live it. The SoFi Way is how we show up every day, how we make decisions, and how we build for our members, clients, and each other.
