Senior Product Manager - Fleet Security and Mexico Growth

About the role:

Samsara's mission is to increase the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the operations that power the global economy. Our customers span industries from transportation and logistics to government and field services. Within this mission, our Fleet Security team builds essential tools to help customers optimize how their assets are used and protect them from theft, fraud, and unauthorized vehicle use.

In this role, you’ll work as a key individual contributor responsible for driving innovation across both the Fleet Security domain. Within this domain, the Mexico market specifically is a focus area, as physical security and fraud solutions are key value propositions for Samsara in this market. Solutions that you develop will largely be motivated by Mexico’s needs, but will be extensible to our global markets as well. 

You will shape and execute a roadmap that blends customer-specific needs with scalable, cross-market solutions, collaborating closely with engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams. In doing this, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how Samsara’s customers manage and secure their fleets globally.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Mexico.

• Build and evolve products for fleet security (e.g. theft detection, engine immobilization).
• Use AI and data to deliver insights that help customers identify asset misuse, fraud, and theft.
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and gather feedback.
• Partner with sales, support, and engineering to drive adoption and execution.
• Help define growth strategy in Mexico in conjunction with product evolution.
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Have 4+ years of product experience with a track record of shipping impactful features.
• Enjoy solving hard problems for real-world users.
• Are data-driven, structured in your thinking, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Want to own products end-to-end - from customer insights to go-to-market.
• Spanish speaking.

An ideal candidate also has:

• Experience in IoT, fleet / telematics, security, or public sector tech.
• Familiarity with AI/ML features or anomaly detection.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
