Hi! 👋 I'm Steven, Lead Product Manager at WeTravel.

I'm hiring a Demand PM to own how multi-day travel businesses on WeTravel attract, capture, and convert their customers. This is an exciting PM-GM role where you'll scale existing products, start new ones, help drive the overall business outcome, and work directly with our CEO and functional leads on strategy.

About WeTravel

Travel gives people new experiences and brings them together, sometimes in life-changing ways. That's especially the case for group travel and multi-day travel (think of a 7-day safari in the Serengeti, a 5-day scuba diving trip in the Galápagos, or a multi-week pilgrimage) where travelers get to really immerse themselves. Passionate travel organizers make this magic happen, and WeTravel is here to support them.

Multi-day travel businesses use WeTravel as their end-to-end operating system: publishing trip offerings, generating and converting leads, processing payments around the world, paying suppliers and vendors. WeTravel helps them grow sales, save time, and save money, so they can focus on delivering incredible bucket-list experiences.

WeTravel is a 350+ person company representing more than 50 countries. We combine global diversity with the agility and closeness of a much smaller team. More than 90 colleagues are based in our Amsterdam office in Rokin, including the entire Product Org.

You will have fun innovating fast with brilliant, low-ego colleagues. Our clients are also easy to reach, which helps us stay close to their needs and build with them.

Financially, WeTravel is highly secure and growing fast, with 60 to 100 percent year-over-year growth depending on the metric. This gives us a strong foundation to build from.

About the Role

You will own the Demand domain: everything that helps an organizer attract new leads and turn those into booked travelers.

Where you'll spend most of your time

Three major initiatives at WeTravel are currently run as services by our marketing and ops teams. Your first and biggest job is to turn them into real, scalable products. Expect these to take the majority of your focus, especially in your first year.

  • Websites Program: scaling our organizer websites program beyond pilot so any organizer can stand up a high-converting site.

  • Blogs and content tooling: AI-assisted, SEO/AEO-optimized content creation organizers can use to drive organic acquisition.

  • Managed Ads / Social: productizing what our marketing team delivers today to a few organizers into a real, scalable offering.

  • Campaign tooling: bulk email campaigns, segmentation, sequences, and lead nurturing automations (e.g., brochure download → automated email).

The rest of the Demand domain

Alongside the productization work, you'll own the surfaces and tooling that make up the rest of the funnel.

  • Acquisition analytics & attribution: the layer that tells us, and our organizers, what's actually working across channels.

  • Lead capture tools organizers can embed on their sites: contact forms, brochure downloads, trip widgets, "book now" buttons, and similar surfaces.

Looking ahead

Multi-channel campaign management across email, SMS, and WhatsApp, with message templates and analytics that close the loop back to attribution.

You will deeply study travel the organizers needs, prioritize them, come up with solutions (or hypotheses to test), drive the cross-functional work to build and launch them, drive adoption, and ultimately grow our revenue. In this high-impact, high-visibility role, you'll work as a peer to our Lifecycle and Itinerary PMs and collaborate weekly with our CEO, marketing leadership, and the Sites/Ops team.

An Ideal Candidate

Has a track record of exceptional results and a well-rounded PM skillset, especially the ability to break down ambiguous problems and drive high-velocity execution.

Must-haves:

  • 7+ years in product management with at least 2–3 years in growth, acquisition, marketing tech, or CRM/lifecycle-adjacent products.

  • A track record of productizing services or scaling a pilot into a real product.

  • Comfortable being accountable for commercial outcomes, not just features shipped.

  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management across marketing, sales/ops, engineering, design.

  • Has shipped at least one of: website builder, lead capture/forms, email campaign tool, ads/marketing tooling, or similar acquisition surface.

  • Growth and experimentation mindset, with the judgment to decide without perfect data. Willing to ship, learn, and iterate.

Backgrounds that will help you here:

  • Growth, paid acquisition, SEO, social, or affiliate / channel acquisition (growth manager, performance marketing PM, etc).

  • CRM or workflow tooling, SMB SaaS.

  • AI product exposure.

  • Travel industry knowledge.

Why This Role, Specifically

A few things I'd want to know if I were on your side of the table:

  • You'd be building, not maintaining. Productizing the Websites Program and Managed Ads, building out lead capture, and shaping AI-driven acquisition tooling. This is genuinely new product work.

  • You'd own outcomes, not features. Real accountability for revenue from the offerings you ship.

  • Room to grow into a GM-shaped role. Across the industry, the PM function is shifting toward owning business outcomes, revenue, and unit economics rather than just shipping features. This role is shaped for that shift from day one, a strong fit for PMs who want to build the GM muscle that the next decade of product work will demand.

  • A product organizers genuinely love. Talk to any of our customers and you'll feel it. Travel is one of the rare B2B SaaS domains where the work connects to actual human joy.

Interview process

Our process aims to be high-signal and respectful of your time. Every interview includes time for your questions.

  • First round

    • Recruiter screen (30 min): introduction, background, motivation.

  • Second round

    • Hiring manager interview (60 min): your background in depth, the role, your questions.

  • Final round

    • Live whiteboard session, onsite (60 min, onsite). We'll send you two real organizer briefs about 48 hours in advance. We'll work together on three things: where would you start to grow their business, what would you build, and how would you learn whether it's working. Not a clean case. A real working session.

    • Cross-functional discussion (45 min): how you'd work with Engineering and Design.

    • CEO conversation (30 min): mission, ambition, and culture, both ways.

A Final Note

Our clients are entrepreneurs and artisans who pour their passion into creating bucket-list experiences. Helping them grow their businesses is what motivates us, and what would motivate the right Demand PM. If that resonates, I'd love to meet.

Steven
