About the Role:This role owns Transak’s Compliance & KYC product surface, translating regulatory requirements into scalable, conversion-optimised product systems.
The PM is accountable for:
- KYC / KYB onboarding flows
- Authentication and identity verification
- Progressive / tiered KYC
- Compliance configuration across jurisdictions
- Partner-facing compliance APIs and tooling
- Product interfaces between Compliance, Risk, Ops, and Engineering
This is not a policy-setting role. It is a product execution and strategy role operating within regulatory constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the Compliance & KYC vertical end-to-end
- Define long-term vision, success metrics, and KPIs
- Prioritise roadmap using data, user feedback, and regulatory requirements
Execution & Delivery
- Write clear, detailed PRDs
- Partner with Design and Engineering to ship features
- Drive agile execution and post-launch iteration
Technical & Analytical Depth
- Work closely with backend and API engineers
- Instrument onboarding funnels and KYC flows
- Use data (dashboards, SQL, analytics tools) to improve conversion, cost, and risk outcomes
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations
- Align product decisions with regulatory readiness across regions
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify automation and scalability opportunities in compliance flows
- Track market and regulatory trends in fintech and Web3
- Maintain strong customer and partner feedback loops
Business & User Outcomes
- Increased onboarding conversion in compliant regions
- Reduced user and partner time-to-onboard
- Faster partner launches and integrations
Operational & Risk Outcomes
- Lower cost per verification / KYB case
- Reduced manual compliance operations

Minimum Requirements
- Ownership of a core product area in fintech, payments, crypto, or API-led B2B
- Demonstrated business impact through product decisions
- Fluency in analytics, funnels, and experimentation
- Cross-functional leadership experience

- Deep exposure to KYC/KYB, payments, risk, or APIs
- Multi-region product experience
- Above-basic data skills (SQL, dashboards)
